Love this car
Pros: Hard top convertible.
Cons: Tire prices. This car is more fun than I could imagine. Lexus did it right!
Good mechanics, bad visuals.
Pros: The Hybrid drive system.
Cons: The blind spots.I bought the car because I wanted a hybrid. I rented a Prius for a weekend and then drove the Hs250. I decided I did not want the Prius. The Hs250 has the same hybrid drive as the Prius but it seems to have more life, at the expense of gas mileage. The ride is a little harsh for a Lexus. Too many blind spots.
Great Lexus Product
Pros: Everything about the car is my favorite feature.
Cons: Can not think of a thing I do not like.Great car, second Lexus I have owned after always having GM and a few Fords. I have had RX Lexus for the last ten years and for many more to come.
250k - Still Running Strong!
Cons: Trunk floor is not flat which complicates packing occasionally.I bought my 2001 IS 300 brand new as soon as the model was introduced. Since that time I have managed to put over 250,000 miles on the clock in all manner of driving and weather conditions with nary a stuck accelerator. I always bragged that I'd have no problem getting in my now high mileage car and driving across country. Well, that's just what I did; with 230,000 miles on the clock, I drove the car 3,000 miles to its first East Coast winter. All maintenance has been performed by Lexus dealerships, the most attentive being Lexus of Carlsbad. If you're looking for a reliable entry level somewhat sporty luxury sedan that's a lot cheaper than a BMW 3-Series, you simply can't go wrong with the IS series from Lexus.
best car i had
Cons: headlightsif u take care of it , it will take care of you. it handles well, no real problems
First Asian auto in my garage!
Pros: The vehicle is incredibly quiet and a joy to drive.
Cons: After just about eight months, nothing yet.I am thoroughly pleased with my latest choice in a 2010 model automobile. Although my buying experience was rather hectic, it seemed that no matter what your preference was you had to take whatever the factory dealt out. A take it or leave attitude. I am glad that I had the patience to wait out this fustrating experience. Went to a fleet dealer, RC in Phoenix, who found exactly what I was looking for, from out of state, and have been very happy since.
Actually a Vintage 1997 ES 300
Pros: Starts every time.
Cons: Handling could be better in SnowAlways dealer service, a former BMW owner of a 3,5 and 7 Series - I like the Lexus approach to Customer satisfaction. Needed a rebuilt tranny but covered under PT Warranty. Otherwise, solid as a rock and now with 141K miles and plenty of seasons left.. Plan to sell on the cheap and buy a used Acura/Lexus/Infiniti. No more German junk as BMW's are too costly to maintain and overrated for engineering excellence.
