Pros: Automatic trunk release
Cons: no automatic door locks
Advice: BUY ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!We love our new Spectra especially the gas milage. I travel a lot and love the milage. It has more features for less money than any other same size car.
Pros: cruz cont.
Cons: front seats could be more comfortable
Advice: Go drive it .This is my second KIA.I traded a 2003 KIA Rio which in my opinion was a good car for what it was.My wife & i love the Sportage. It has a lot of features found only in those over priced luxery suv's.No it wont go 4 weeling with my jeep wrangler ,then it wasnt intended to do so.Say/think what you want but we think its a nice suv.Love the WARRENTY.
Pros: great first time SUV for someone who can't afford more
Cons: shakes on highway, backseat not very roomy, feels unsafe
Advice: good vehicle, but please consider all your options, do your research! We have had our Kia for 3 years. The cup holder broke very shortly after the purchase. And the Kia has been in and out of the shop the entire time that we have had it. Granted, it is affordable, great on gas, great warranty (usually covers most problems). But, it does shake alot on the highway and on windy days, something to get used to. Overall it's ok. But if you want to think about safety, you may want to choose a diffrent vehicle. I can't even imagine what would happen if we had an accident in it. So, we are looking at a Mazda3. Also, affordable and great with gas!
Pros: The inside of the vehicle. Roomy for small SUV
Cons: The Leaks - Engine Oil - Transmission oil - Compresser Oil
Advice: Great PriceIt drove very smooth for the first month. Then the leaks started, in one month I had a eng. oil leak, transmission leak and the funniest one of all a air conitioner compressor leak. The car was in the shop over 20 day in one month. Thank god for the great warranty. WE WILL SEE IN DO TIME IF THIS NEW SPORTAGE IS BETTER THEN IT OLDER BROTHER, BAD START?
Pros: Nicely designed interior, comfortable
Cons: Whiny V-6 engine, transmission replacement, oil leaks, kinda ugly headlights.
Advice: Make your own judgement: 'Do I want a loaded, but super unreliable Sportage, or Toyota Rav4 that has the necessary things and is super-reliable.'The Kia Sportage is definately a nice vehicle-not as nice as Toyota, but their catching up, quickly. But I cant say many good things about it because it's so troublesome. The V-6 engine is the main problem, while refined while cruising, it jerks on shifts and has reliability issues. I've had to replace sparkplugs already, a container for the oil, which was leaking oil, and so on. Also I have to replace the trasnmission-thankfully covered by warranty. The interior is nicely designed, but are full of rattles, which gets really annoying, especially in a new car. Kia tried to fix this, but unlike Nissan, which had the same problem, they haven't been able to fix it. I will try Kia again later, maybe in 10 years. The last Kia I had was a 95 Sephia or somethin that was one horrible car. For now, I plan to trade in the Kia for another car- maybe a Toyota Rav4.
Pros: Comfort, CD player, versatility, very good on the road
Cons: A bit more of power would be nice.
Advice: Try one, don't listen at those who don't like Korean productsThe old Sportage is at years-light of the new one. I've buy one in Feb., got 8000 kilometers and no problems so far.Very good vehicle with comfort, standard features of security at the top of the category, etc. Srely the best value for the price in the SUV of today. Why pay 6000 $ more for the same ??? Don't listen at those who have buyed and old version. Of course, they had problems. But I know some peoples who had problems too with Toyota, Honda and more.
Pros: THE LOOKS
Cons: THE SOUND SYSTEM
Advice: BUY ONETHE BEST
