This car has been very reliable and gets very good gas mileage.
I am extremely pleased with this car. It fits more items than my 2011 Prius and yet it is smaller outside! It has a better back up camera and navigation system too! All for a much lower cost. Also, my fuel economy has exceeded the 40 mpg. hwy. and 30 mpg. city and come very close to my hybrid Prius. Everything is high quality and the car looks and drives great. The price is right and I like the sunroof, the cruise control, the steering wheel controls, and the quality leather seats.
Bought this car just over 4 days ago and have driven it over 1,400 miles. It has exceeded my expectations in every way, especially in fuel economy. My average fuel consumption has been just under 45 miles per gallon. Outstanding. The ride is smooth. The steering is tight. The power is plentiful. There is plenty of room inside and the steering wheel and seats adjust nicely. The navigation system is so much better than the one in my 2011 Toyota Prius. So are the leather seats. Try one.
This car is great in the city and on the highway. It is pretty quiet and holds up well to crosswinds (50 mph winds). Fuel economy could be a bit better. Do average 30 MPG for combined city/highway driving.
Pros: Bluetooth, 6-speed auto, USB inputs
Cons: Car could have more power to match the looksThe Koup is my 4th Kia and I have to say the best. over all I love the car-looks great, drives good and is very comfortable. I have the EX. Power could be better, but not bad for a 156HP 4cy with 6-speed auto. I love this car and recomend it to anyone that wants a nice looking 2 door car for a good price.
Plainest little car you'll ever love
Cons: AppearanceThis is my second 'base model' Kia Rio, I love it! Never have to drop a gear going up big hills. I like the simplicity, feeling the road, and reliability. My last Kia didn't owe me a dime when I finally traded it at 130k. Great warranty, nice car as long as your ego isn't hooked to the cool factor of your ride.
