    2010 Jeep Liberty

    2010 Jeep Liberty Limited 4WD

    Pros: Drive especially in snow

    Cons: mileage

Fun to drive, and awesome in the snow. inside it is comfortable and has many creature comforts. The only down sides are the Jeep Dealers I have dealt with are not that good, and the mileage is very low. But the with the solid performance you know about the mileage going in. Overall fun to drive and looks very good.

    2009 Jeep Liberty - Limited Edition 4x2

Pros: all around capability and comfort

Cons: engine sounds like its straining on accerleration or load.

Advice: this is the best towing capacity you can get without going truck. (I searched a lot)

ride is a bit rolly on turns or washboard roads but totally secure. towing is amazing. i had to back up a soft, gravel road uphill backwards with a 5000lb boat/trailer and it did the job amazingly well. pulling the boat up a slippery ramp is easy with 4w-low. miserable winter conditions are handled easily, and with remote start, awd and high clearance, i didn't have to worry about getting started in the morning, or whether roads were plowed. i carry lots of cargo and it has great space. my last car was a grand cherokee ltd hemi and i like this one better. ( my 21 yr old daughter got one, too)

    2008 Jeep Liberty - Sport 4x2

Pros: Outer body style and appearance.

Cons: Maybe a few things inside could be less plasticy looking but not a big issue for me.

Advice: In todays market negotiate for a good deal, you should get one for considerably less than sticker as all American made cars arehorribly over priced

Well, first off it is a jeep so it is not going to drive like a luxury car. But that being said, it is remarkably comfortable even on longer rides, handles quite well and while at first I was wondering about room, it is actually quite roomy. Mileage wise is only average but with only an 8 mile commute to work not a big deal. Good options and a very very big improvment on the 2007 and earlier Liberties. I like the fact it is more retro and harkens back more to the boxy older Cherokees of the 80s and 90s.

    2008 Jeep Liberty - Limited Edition 4x4

Pros: The styling inside and out retain the unique DNA of Jeeps through history except now High Tech

Cons: Fairly stiff suspension on rough roads bumb bump..heck its a Jeep after all.

Advice: For a high degree of American made, splashed with a hint of German Engineering and subtle retro styling get it. Just get the best deal you can and go for it.

I have had my 2008 Liberty Limited (nicely appointed) for about 4000 miles now, in Alaska. I don't care for the looks of the 2007 models however the changes they made for the 2008 have given the Liberty all the right proportions and the looks just keep growing on me every day more and more. No it isn't a hot rod and it gets only decent gas mileage still but the way it handled the ice and snow during the Alaska winter was fantastic and provided a very safe feel. My other rig is a suburban. You could almost live in with it's size but the smaller Jeep is fun to drive. The biggest selling point besides looks and function is however THE LIFETIME WARRANTY !!! Nuff said !!! Imagine passing your Jeep down to your kids.

    2007 Jeep Liberty - Sport 4x4

    Pros: Rear fold down seats

    Cons: Windows, AC, finish

    Advice: Keep looking!

The AC is terrible! It constantly changes temp and the dealership is no help at all. I have had it in three times and no change. The drive side window is constantly coming off track and again, the dealership has no idea why. I was considering an Xeterra and I wish I had spent a little more and gotten a reliable automobile.

    2006 Jeep Liberty - Sport 4x2

Pros: pushing it in my driveway after it dies.. good exercise!

    Cons: pos tranny....

    Advice: dont buy it

i have a 2007 and it feels like its coming apart. its been in the shop muiltiple times and its messes up about a week after they fix it. the service department lies through thier teeth and says nothings wrong and then i got home and my car would not start. i dislike their 'five star' maitenance also. it only has 2500 miles and its been in the shop 7 times... i will never buy another jeep again...
