    2003 Infiniti I35 - Base

    Pros: power and ride

    Cons: somewhat sedate exterior styling

Advice: give this car serious consideration

very smooth and exceptionaly stable with the sport package. Tires are a little bouncy and I would change to the new Michieln Pilot AS when due. Cabin is very quiet and well layed out. Stereo is excellent. Nice torque at lights. I traded my 95 BMW 540 and can say other than the cheesy wood trim, this car performs as well as the beamer (hopefully without the huge repair bills)This is a great value car which handles like a dream.

    2003 Infiniti G35 - (A5) Coupe

    Pros: Acceleration

    Cons: Analog Clock

Advice: If your budget is upto 40K for a sports car - this is the right choice. Beyond that think 911 Turbo.

The performance, styling and handling is better than any other vehicles I considered. I test drove the G35 Coupe. For comfort - most of the others were better I think. But when your buying a sports coupe - you dont care about the comfort - buy a sedan then. I havent bought as yet - trying to sell my Honda first - not enough trade in value offered.

    2002 Infiniti I35 - Base

Pros: Silky smooth, breathtaking performance. Silent inside.

Cons: A little jittery on poor roads. Wide turning circle due to front-wheel drive.

Advice: Take the time to check out all the added value features. Read a leading consumer magazine to verify incredible reliability.

The I35 is a big car, nicely disguised as a scorching performer. Either that or - it's a bomb, nicely dressed up as a conservative sedan. Either way, it can pass as a luxury sedan pulling up to the Ritz, and then go out and blow the doors off Mustangs and Camraros. I've had ZERO problems of any kind coming on 12,000 miles and it's been across the country and back. It's graceful and silent inside with many luxury features and nice touches. It has a wonderful, solid FEEL to it. Whatever you ask of it, the car just does it. While it drives like a big car, it responds and doesn't wallow or hesitate. WONDERFUL feel to the brakes. I like the styling. It isn't tricky or gaudy; it's a nice looking 4-door sedan. Comes with wonderful warranty and roadside service, both of which you may never need. Wonderful stereo! You should hear Mozart or Brahms or Nancy Sinatra on it! The six-disc changer is easy to work and the controls on the steering wheel are just right. Super-comfortable driver seat and all the passengers I've carried so far love it. This includes my 91-year-old mom who rode across country in it.

    2002 Infiniti I35 - Base

    Pros: Confident power.

Cons: Dealer almost 100 miles from my home.

    Advice: Get it

Great car! Sunroof leaked first week on road. Should have been noticed at dealer. Their response to problem was excellent (Yeah Infinity of Richmond!). Power is super, ride excellent. It is not a Mercedes, but at half the price it is more than acceptable.

    2003 Infiniti I35 - Base

    Pros: OVERALL QUALITY & COMFORT

    Cons: APPEARANCE

    Advice: DO NOT HESITATE

ONE OF THE BEST, MAY BE THE BEST IN ITS CATEGORY,DO NOT TELL THE MANUFACTURER OR THE DEALERS, UNDERPRICED, IF THEY CHANGE THE NAME & ADD $20,000 ON THE MSRP, INFINITI MIGHT OUTSELL LEXUS OR BMW. EXCELLENT BUY.

    2003 Infiniti G35 - Luxury Leather (A5) Sedan

Pros: Performance: engine, brakes, and cornering are all GREAT!

Cons: Ergonomics are weird, stereo is only so-so.

Advice: The sport suspension is pretty taught. Drive both version to see what you like best.

Bad stuff first: the ergonomics on this thing are weird. Seat controls in the wrong place, hard-to-learn radio controls, etc. The premium stereo is OK but overpriced. The nav system has quirky controls, but is VERY good. I've used Acura's system a lot and this one picks better routes, but doesn't have as many options for customizing. Plus, no touch screen...come on, Infiniti, a joystick? No matter what they say, I've never been able to beat 20 mpg, even when driving gently during the break-in period. Set your wallet accordingly. OK, now the good stuff: After a few days, you'll love this car. The performance is great with awesome acceleration -- see ya BMW 3-series! The engine sounds like a V8 when you open it up. The shifts are S-M-O-O-T-H, except when you punch the gas from a rolling start. It'll do a double-downshift that is effective, but not very graceful. I guess if you want graceful you order the I35. The G35 takes corners FAST with no lean and no squeal (I have the sport suspension). The brakes are touchy and take some getting used to, but they are absoluately amazing. I'm owned a few honest-to-goodness sports cars and the G35 out-brakes all of them. Overall -- great job, Infiniti! It looks like you're on a comeback roll!

    2003 Infiniti M45 - Base

    Pros: Engine

    Cons: Instaneous mileage 'leaf symbol'.

    Advice: Get one quick!

Outstanding engine and transmission. Great throttle reponse without being too sensitive at 'tip-in'. Excellent brake and steering response - just right. Firm yet extremely comfortable ride. Engine is quiet at part throttle but has a very nice note at full throttle. Overall the nicest car I've driven.
