50 yrs driving; best car ever
Pros: Safety and comfort
Cons: Originally not crazy about the looks, but learned to likeSanta Fe is outstanding. I just wish I could afford a new one. This is my second in last 8 years; both purchased new and they are awesome .
Cons: having to replace tires and brakes after only 22000 milesit used to be that when you purchased a new vehicle that you would not have to replace anything . and telling me that it is normal for tires and brakes to be changed after only 22,000 miles is wrong. they opted to go with softer rubber compound and cheaper parts.
Excellent bang for the buck.
Pros: Handles well. Feels stable on the road.
Cons: Sticky accelorator which seems common on this car.I bought the Santa Fe new and have been the primary driver. There have been no major repairs, only normal replacement of tires, batteries and accessories for the entire 7 years/90,000 miles. I plan to buy another.
No Wonder Hyundai sales are soaring
Pros: dual zone climate control
Cons: mileage about 21.3 mpg averageI'm seeing more and more Santa Fe SUV's on the road these days and no wonder. They look great, drive great, have the best Warranty in America, are loaded with features such as 4 wheel ABS brakes with traction control, electronic stability control, heated leather seats sunroofs(option) dual zone climate control (the wife loves this feature) tilt steering powerful V6 engines, split fold flat rear seats with extra storage in the back, remote power outlets in the back just to name a few. Ive owned two of them a 2007 and a 2008 and I wouldn't trade it for any other SUV in its class and I tested many. Did I mention 5 years courtesy roadside assistance? Ask Toyota if they give you that. Just drive one and you'll be the next thrilled Santa Fe owner.
Love the Vehicle; hate what they took away
Pros: Love the way it drives.
Cons: not having outside tempI love my new Santa Fe but hate it that Hyundai took the outside temp, the range (before running out of gas) and the steering wheel radio control off the 2009 that I bought. I had a 2008 and didn't realize my 2009 didn't have these things 'til I had driven it quite a few miles.
one of my best cars ever
Pros: all wheel drive, sun and moon roof
Cons: too shine shift knob box cover,(highly chromed)it is an excellent vehicle good in snow. never got stuck in winter contions. milage could be better. It's a well built car
Pros: heated seats, power sun roof
Cons: nothing yet
Advice: buy it ... you will like the carnice smooth ride on the turnpike. seats are very comfortable during extended trips. very quiet interior, great audio system 20-21 mpg highway so far not 24mpg as advertised turning radius is nice and tight for a suv.
