    2007 Hyundai Accent - GS (M5) Hatchback

    Pros: Looks, price and Warranty

Cons: Fact that check engine light comes on every 1000 miles

Advice: Beware of 2007 Accent hatchbacks

This car is OK for the price, My 2007 Accent Hatchback has already had it's problems. At 2000, 3200, and 4300 miles check engine light came on. Hyundai dealer couldn't seem to fix it on the first 2 tries. Now I am waiting 2 days for parts to see if third time will fix it. I am disappointed because I thought this car had great ratings. Maybe because this is a new model, maybe next years models will be better?

    2005 Hyundai Accent - GT (M5) Hatchback

    Pros: size, looks, mileage, reliability

    Cons: Automatic Transmission

Advice: Buy new, less issues!! Get the 5 speed if possible, auto trans has no get up & go!!

The leg room was not an issue. Wanted the 5 speed but, wound up getting the automatic. Buy the 5 speed!!! Much road noise but, that was expected. Rides not too bad. The seat could go back further. Lots of cargo space. Solid built. Bought it in September of 05, it's now nearing the end of May 06. Glad to report with almost 18,000 miles on her, I have had no problems what so ever.
