Best overall minivan
Pros: The room and the safety features
Cons: All back seats do not fold into the floorI have had no problems with this vehicle. It has preformed well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a minivan. I love all the safety features it has. I also like the fact that you use only the cylinders you need thus saving on gas.
Much better than expected
Pros: The navigation and rear entertainment system....BEST!
Cons: Why does it have to be called a minivan?Coming from a Honda Accord, I was concerned about getting a minivan. However, the Odyssey doesn't disappoint. I love the convenience features throughout as well as the space for my new family of 5...Yes we added a 3rd baby this year!....You'll love it.
One sweet vehicle!
Pros: Everything about it.
Cons: I do become irritated that Honda thinks I need to have self-locking doors. That's a pain, sometimes.Initially, I wasn't all that impressed, but the more I've driven my Odyssey, the more I've grown to admire it. Even love it. Handles beautifully (even sportily) - feels as if it's glued to the road. Takes curves with virtually no body lean. Strong, quiet engine, smooth transmission. Gets excellent gas mileage on long trips as long as I keep the RPM's below 2,000 by using the cruise control. (I averaged 27.5 mpg combined on a cross-country trip of 7,300 miles.) I also love the flexibility of its interior. I removed one of the 2nd row seats to provide a capacious space for my 2 golden retrievers. If I have extra passengers, I simply raise up the 3rd row seats. (Actually, that's my favorite place to sit when there's a different driver: views out are terrific.) Would I buy another one? In a second, although I doubt that I'll soon feel the impulse to do that. That's because this one will last nearly forever, judging from my experience with 2 other Hondas I've owned. PS: My license plate is 'BYHOMER.' (Get it? 'The Odyssey, by Homer?' That seems fitting, because my Odyssey takes me and my dogs on my many delightful, adventurous journeys into nearby Mexico in total comfort and safety.)
Pros: Seat that folds into trunkComfortable, reliable van
Pros: solid steering, seats comfortable
Cons: rattles and wind noise
Advice: Check alternatives, Sienna.Rattles quite a bit from doors and seat belts at low speeds around town. Doors seem a bit light. Noticeable clunk when press on the gas if coasting up to traffic lights. Some gear noise when shifting from reverse to forward. Highway drive is comfortable but some wind noise from driver side mirror area.
