Advice: get one, you only live once and you only die onceThe 2005 dodge sprinter I own has a great turning radius the comfort seating is wonderful the view is great you might want to get the parabolic mirrors I couldn't justify living without them.

Advice: Get it. It's tall, think about where your going to park. Wash it at an RV wash, their tall.I bought a 2005 and had it converted into a motorhome for my handicapped wife by Sportsmobile.com. It's wonderful! Great visibility, amazing turning radius, and wonderful fuel mileage. I'm getting about 20-22 mph, but I have an airconditioner mounted on the roof which adds significantly to wind resistance. It's design allows for a huge variety of custom modifications. The doors locking system is way over engineered, it's half a pain. Get the better seats and the fixed steering wheel is no sweat.

Advice: Think about where you will wash it. It won't fit many car washes.I use this for deliveries during the week and carrying kids to soccer games on the weekend. It rides and drives well even though it's a little noisy inside. You have to get used to people staring at you and strangers walking up to you in parking lots. The only way to get more attention is to walk a kangaroo on a leash through a mall. Seating comfort is awesome. The parabolic mirrors are a must. Pickup is great and I'm getting 23-25 mpg around town. This is a Mercedes thinly disguised as a Dodge or Freightliner.

Pros: MPG with 5 cyl diesel engine at 18 MPG city
Cons: All the problems I've had in the frist 4-months of driving
Advice: Wait a year or two before buying until the bugs are worked out.Comfortable to drive, hard to judge rear of vehicle with extended step bumber. Had to lower seat to be able to use left drivers side mirror. Been driving vehicle for 4 months and it's been in shop 6 times.... front brakes, transmission leak, rear door hinge broke, cracked front grill. High winds could be felt at freeway speeds. Nice standup room in rear as a plumbing van.

Advice: Own one and you will understand...So I actually own a Mercedes Sprinter (exactly the same as the Dodge Sprinter - or rather, the other way around). It has a very fresh and much more logical design than the usual American van philosophy: everything is designed for space and ergonomy inside, the huge and deep reaching windshield and high windows provide panorama-like view, no SUV on earth has the same space, comfort and performance features. Not to mention that the teutonic design beats anything American hands down. But the best part is the engine. The Mercedes diesel (same in the Dodge) will last forever, actually much, much longer than what Mercedes makes for its sedans. For 32K you will have the most rugged Merc (with the Dodge-emblem) in (next) to your garage.

Advice: Test drive itFor such a tall and large van it handled surprisingly well. Maneuverability was surprisingly quick. Road feel was better than expected. Visibility was outstanding. I was shocked at how quick the van was with the 2.7 liter engine. I have had to re- think how much stock I put into horsepower numbers as this 150 hp engine exceeded my expectations. Road noise was OK and about like my ten-year-old Caravan. The interior space was, well, impressive. I especially like that the engine and other drive train technology is fairly contemporary yet there is a proven record of reliability established over the last few years in Europe.
