Advice: Not for the lead footed(gas mileage)2002 Ram 1500 Quad Cab with sport pkg,4.7liter, auto,tow pkg. This is the first truck I have ever owned. I love it! It's a real head turner. I constantly receive complements on its styling. Gas mileage could be better. I avg about 18-19 mpg highway at 65mph. City mileage is pretty bad, especially if you have a heavy foot in stop and go traffic. I avg 10-12 mpg city. If the roads are not good and you don't have a load in the rear, hold onto your hats, because you're in for a rough ride. I have had a couple of defects fixed(leaking windshield, floor air is on all the time) I have put about 5000 miles on and have noticed in the last 1000 that it is starting to shift gears a little harder. Almost bought the Ford Supercrew. It had more power and slightly more rear seat room(1'), but it lacked the styling and bed size that the Dodge has. If you buy the Dodge w/20' wheels make sure you buy mud flaps, otherwise expect to have mud and dirt all over the sides of your truck. Overall I am pleased with the truck, and I think a made the best choice for my needs.. The only improvement I would make other than quality control would be a more powerful engine option. And maybe better fuel mileage, which would be wanted of any new vehicle.

Advice: Test drive it to see if it fits your needsI've loved the way the Durango looks since it first came out as a 1997 model. I've got lots of power, especially coming off of a 1986 Honda Prelude. I wish there was more leg room to the second row but it's not bad. It would benefit in the future for it to have a backup warning system because it's somewhat hard to tell where the back is when going in reverse. Other than that, this car is great. Leather seats are very comfortable; dual climate control works great. Great acceleration, especially passing going uphill.

Advice: Make sure to get the 3.5 v6I had a 96 Intrepid and put 155k miles on it, traded it in for a new Intrepid as they are great cars. The are very atractive looking, there are only two things I can really falt them for. The raido, even the upgraded raido and cd player/speaker combination bites. Take it somewhere and get a custom system put in. And the door if your a tall or larger person your knee pushes aginst the door and its not padded like the old door so it can be a little uncomfortable. It was not a problem in the old model as it did not have the intergrated foot rest. But all in all its a wonderfully fun car to dive, sporty, sharp and if taken care of will take you many many miles.

Advice: get limited slip axle, plastic rear wheel house insertstruck was delivered with the wrong tires, they where suppose to be off road(all teerrain) and came through with all season, missing rear seat cup holders. Truck handles great is equipt with camper and snow plow packages, really aids in handleing. The larger fuel tank is a plus too(34 gal).
Pros: Great stereo (120 watt CD and Cassette)
Cons: glove box a little chincy
Advice: get the 6cylQuick car, rides nice, very comfortable, Shifts smoothly. On hilly roads consider leaving it in 3rd (auto trans) performs better and a lot less shifting. Stereo is the best I ever had.
