Advice: Test drive this vehicle hard and if you live where there is snoe then get the AWD.THIS CAR IS AMAZING. I bought the Magnaum after driving an SUV for the past 8 years. This vehicle puts my old SUV to shame. The optional onboard compter is worth the money and you cannot put a price on the steering wheel controls. I took a friend of mine for a ride and he almost got sick when the 340 HP and 390 ft lbs torque engine stuck him hard into the passenger seat. It handles better than the Mustang I use to drive and the AWD is amazing (faster by 2/10 of a second than the normal rear wheel drive RT). this thing purrs when you hit the gas and peaople cannot help but stare at the unique lines in this cars design. The heated seats are great durring these cold New Hampshire evenings and the climate control is worth the money. Gas mileage beats my old SUV getting about 20 MPG while still hitting it at the red lights. My boss always raves about his Lincoln LS V8, I can't wait to embarras him on the drive home. Overall this is an amazing car and well worth the money. Don't waste the money on a Lexus, BMW or Merceds, this puts them all to shame!

Advice: Buy it, but without the sunroof if you're anywhere near 6'.This is an 'owned it 2 months' review... The rear view mirror's too small, the left A-pillar interferes with my 'left of forward' vision, I have to lean a bit to the right to do a good left-shoulder check and the sunroof intrudes on headroom. Furthermore, whoever decided on the 2.8 ratio in the differential should be fired, along with the brains behind the engine's peak hp/torque points being so high. I'm looking forward to the day someone tells me 'yes, we DO sell different ring and pinion kits for that car!' I'm sure having to put my foot halfway to the floor to get even a modest response is contributing to the poor gas mileage. Those beefs aside, I'd be perfectly content if this was the last car I ever bought. It's handsome, comfortable (with the seat adjusted to compensate for the headroom), versatile, rides and handles well, it's alot of fun when you can find the power AND it has great stereo options. When the aftermarket catches up, most of its flaws will be fixable. I haven't had any tranny problems yet; the only moving to the right I've felt is under hard braking on a bumpy road, and it isn't hard to control if you're paying attention. It tracks perfectly the rest of the time. I don't mind the cruise control...I'd definitely buy another if I had to.

Advice: The 8 cyclinder rocks but the 6 cylinder is just as good and get better MPGSneaky fast. AWD is a great feature. Spent a few minutes throwing the Magnum into turns playing on the edge of traction in the rain and its very predictable. Lateral power slides with all 4 wheels loose are very easy to control and recover from. I can't wait to try it in the snow. Exterior looks are great from the sides and the rear. I'm not a big fan of giant crosshair grill but its the Dodge schtick so it comes with the package. The optional roof racks are super beefy and my Thule rack with Fat Mouth clamps integrated quite nicely. The rack makes the Power Tourer look more like a station wagon so if you really dig the 'Hot Rod' look the rack is out. The tires are nice and quiet and they are M+S rated (CountiTourer 18's) so I won't need chains tomorrow when I go up to Tahoe to hit the fresh 20 inches of powder at Kirkwood but I digress... Interior is what sold me. Spacious and comfy with the white leather. I'm 6 foot and 190 lbs and I can cross my legs in both the front and back seats. The 8 way power seats are what you would expect. Highly adjustable and comfortable. the seat heaters will cook your a$$ as well but set on low they are just right. The optional rear DVD system is very nice and folds away neatly into the center console. The DVD sound can be piped through the car stereo which really rocks. The sliding sun roof is huge and the tint is just right to leave the shade open almost always. The Navigation system and radio are up to snuff as well. They make an effort at being a premium killer system but if your an audiophile don't get the upgraded sound system. For me though, the stock 6 speaker sound system is way more than enough. The NAV system is what you would think a NAV system should do. It seams simple but my kid is navigator so you would have to ask her. Overall this is the package. I paid 36K out the door and ours has almost everything. If there is a more fully equipped AWD vehicle with the kind of performance the Magnum v8 has I would love to see it because I looked and couldn't find anything like it for less than 45 grand in San Jose CA. AWD, leather, navigation system, roof rack, sunroof, power & heated seats, DVD Entertainment System, 6 speaker/6CD changer in dash w/steering wheel control buttons, Self Sealing 18' tires, heated power adjustable mirrors, hell I could go on and on....... I ski about 10 - 15 times a year and our Magnum is the new 'Tahoe Express' (Magnasticus Aceleritis) and we'll be blowin by Subarus and Volvo Wagons from the South Bay to the South Lake in style and comfort. We'll be breazin' right by the chain control check points as well!

Advice: Test drive as many versions as you can before choosingWe like to call this our family sports car - you get excellent safety features/ratings, outstanding passenger room and a good cargo space...and the Hemi engine. Need I say more? Having driven the basic V6 and then the V8 Hemi RT, I whole heartedly recommend the RT. It handles firmly, has smooth acceleration and power to spare - love it.

Advice: get ready to never wipe that smile off your face!I have owned my Magnum since July 2004, when they first came out. I absolutely love this car. Quiet when riding, but you hear the roar of that Hemi when you step on the gas! And, I just had a major accident in this car, I would like to comment on the safety of this car! 50 MPH into another car, and I stepped out unhurt,like nothing happened. Everything from front doors down remained untouched.

Advice: You must drive this car before you buy anything else. It is soo fun to drive.I wanted a 4 door car with permormance and style. I choose the Dodge Magnum SXT because it is very muscle car looking, lots of room, handles very sporty and performs great. And the gas milage at 19/27 you can't beat.
