2006 Dodge Grand Caravan - SE Passenger

    Pros: Sto N Go

    Cons: Noisy interior

Advice: Live without Sto N Go and you'll get a quieter vehicle.

Engine is a bit noisy - probably normal but due to poor sound insulation it's quite audible. Outside sounds seem to penetrate the cabin and the large hollow Sto n Go seat wells tend to amplify outside sound. The under carriage is reconfigured for the Sto n Go feature so the exhaust and spare tire changes have revised the underbody layout adversely resulting in more noise inside the vehicle. The SE Plus package offers cheap plastic looking interior doors that also lack sound deadening. Overall, I am dissatisfied with the interior noise level and corner cutting to save cost.

2005 Dodge Grand Caravan - SXT Passenger

Pros: Remote rear hatch opening and closing.

Cons: cup holders on rear seats.

Advice: Can get great deals on this vechicle. Got mine for $8500 off list.

Excellent storage space, all seats fold down easily and love the way remote doors open as well as back hatch. Radio controls on steering wheel come in handy on trips. Like it very much. 4th Chrsler Van I have owned. This is by far the best.

2006 Dodge Grand Caravan - SXT Passenger

    Pros: Sto-N-Go Seating

Cons: You have to move the front seats all the way up to sto the 2nd row seats.

    Advice: Get the DVD player

The stow-n-go seating is the best feature. The 3.8 L six has enough power to do the job(hello, it's a minivan not a Mustang).

2005 Dodge Grand Caravan - SE New Passenger

    Pros: STOW & GO

    Cons: TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS

Advice: LOOKS GOOD, TOO MANY PROBLEMS FOR A NEW CAR!!!!!

WE BOUGHT OUR 2005 GRAND CARAVAN IN NOVEMBER,AND LOVED IT AT FIRST; AFTER 1 MONTH I HAD TO HAVE A NEW STEERING RACK PUT IN BECAUSE OF SOMETHING WITH THE POWER STEERING COOLING; AFTER 3 MONTHS, I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSMISSION, THE DEALERSHIP IS GREAT AND MAKING GOOD FOR IT, BUT IT IS SLIPPING A-G-A-I-N!! IF YOUR PURCHASING THIS AS A NEW VEHICLE AND EXPECTING A DEPENDABLE CAR LIKE I DID, THINK AGAIN!!! I HAVE MORE PROBLEMS WITH THIS THAN I DID ANY PRE-OWNED VEHICLE I OWNED PRIOR!!!

2005 Dodge Grand Caravan - SXT Passenger

    Pros: Stow and Go Seating

Cons: I'm 6'4'. Car Seat still doesn't fit behind me.

Advice: Go w/ the Grand Caravan to get the Stow and Go seating

We always said we wouldn't buy a a mini van, but we love this vehicle. V6 gives good power. Grand Caravan is long, but still very maneuverable. I recommend the Grand Caravan (long wheel base) w/ the SXT pkg. You get so many features included, the value is terrific. I cannot say enough about the Stow and Go Seats. The flexibilty of space they offer w/o having to wrestle with your vehicle, make the Grand Caravan a MUST have since Stow and Go is not offered in the short wheel base. We love our Grand Caravan SXT.

2005 Dodge Grand Caravan - SXT Passenger

    Pros: Stow 'N Go seats

Cons: Flimsy plastic floor cover between second row bucket seats

Advice: Be sure to research and compare any potential vehicle purchase to the competition

Second and third row seats do sacrifice size, appearance, and perhaps comfort to allow the stowable feature. Floor cover between second row bucket seats is flimsy and uncarpeted. Third row outside seats have limited foot room; toes cannot extend under the second row seats. Despite these initial observations, we are very impressed with Dodge's exterior styling, the Stow 'n Go functionality, the 3.8 L V6 performance, and the interior finish. Convinced this is a much better value than the competition; very pleased with our purchase.
