Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Love my Volt, just wish it had a bit more range. 60+ would be ideal.
Love IT! The ride is so quiet and smooth. Plenty of power and solid feel. Electronics are great - lots of info and links to my phone seamlessly. I have a 40 mile (RT) commute and I'm still on my first tank of gas after 4 1/2 months!
The overall quality of the Volt is well above average for a Chevrolet car of any kind. The drive is very smooth, a little eerie how quite it is, acceleration is good and the brakes are strong. Body roll is low and handling is overall impressive considering the hard compound tires and eco nature of the car. It is nice having the 2 screens with more information than you could want. With the tax incentives factored in the car is a great price. I have only put gas in it 3 times in 8 months!
I love my truck
Cons: nothing, I love it all.I have run back and forth accross the United States several time in it, I am past 70 years old and with onstar I feel totally safe, I intend to keep traveling. It is a beautiful metallic green truck and I totally trust it not to break down as long as I keep up with the oil changes. Thanks, Marie Evrard
Cons: tow option transmission really bad milege when towing
Advice: Buy it, drive it, have funA 2001 with all options been in the shop once for a minor re-call 98k miles I'd take off tommorow and drive cross country with no hesitation Great truck 5.3 liter
Pros: front bucket seats
Cons: the quality
Advice: if you don't like XM or Onstar do not get the feature.I bought my 2005 Silverado in Feb. 2005, so far I've had a couple of problems with it... The first problem was a leak in the ac compressor, which was covered by the warranty, by the way all of these problems were covered. I also had a problem with the rear window seals they actually replaced both rear windows to fix the leak. Then came the CD player(bose system w/ Onstar & XM). The first time they took the radio out and sent it out for repair. I drove the vehicle without a radio for three days. The second time it happened the dealership ordered a radio (remanufactured) and installed it, it worked when I picked the truck at the dealer but it stopped working shortly after, all the gauges started going crazy all over the place, now they have ordered a new radio.... The last problem is the transmission, they tell me that it has to be reprogrammed because it sometimes starts off in second gear. All of these problems happenned within the first year.
Pros: The Bose stereo.
Advice: Test Drive all the rest and see for yourself!!!This is by far the best pick-up I have ever had.Its like driving my Living room!!!
