    2006 Chevrolet Corvette - Z06 Hardtop Coupe

    Pros: LS7 engine

    Cons: exhaust is too docile

Advice: The car is faster than you, be very careful and respect the power. This dog bites.

WOW! Plain and simple. This car is as fast as it looks. The ride is firm but not annoying, it's a little noisy while at speed on a concrete highway. The fuel mileage is unheard of, 1900 miles and has averaged 25.2mpg. This car has been untouchable, most people get a real good look at the back of my Z.

    2005 Chevrolet Corvette - Coupe

    Pros: looks

Cons: getting in and out tough for a big guy

Advice: easy on the gas peddle until use get use to it

i love my c6 to death,i have it put away for the winter now which i hate but living in new york state to suck it in. i can't wait to get it on the road. the performance is great the mileage is great for the size engine and the power is awksome. the feel behind the wheel and the handling around turns forget the brakes you don't need them if you act smart and get use to it. the look my wife said after i saw my corvette ready to take home from the dealer was just earth shattering. the looks, handling, power and the feel was what grab me, and i never drove the c6 until i had my own because the dealer had none to drive

    2005 Chevrolet Corvette - Coupe

Pros: THE VIEW OF THE CAR FROM THE TAIL END.

Cons: IT ONLY TAKES ME 20 MINUTES TO GET TO WORK

Advice: DON'T WAIT, GO AND DO IT AS SOON AS YOU CAN, YOU WILL NOT REGRET THE DECISION.

I GIVE TWO PIECES OF ADVICE FOR ANYONE I LET DRIVE THE CAR. 1. GO EASY IN AND OUT OF DRIVEWAYS OR BUMPS IN THE ROAD 2. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE IT AIMED WHERE YOU WANT TO GO WHEN YOU STEP ON THE GAS. THIS CAR IS A KICK IN THE BUTT, GET UP AND GET THE HECK OUT OF HERE, POCKET ROCKET WITH ALL THE AMENITIES FOR CREATURE COMFORT. AND TO TOP IT OFF, YOU CAN HAVE THE DARN THING WORKED ON AT PEP BOYS AND IT GETS GREAT GAS MILEGE.

2004 Chevrolet Corvette - Base Coupe

    Pros: Balanced performance

    Cons: Nothing

Advice: With the C6 coming out soon the 2004 Corvette (C5) is a bargain

This car is fun to drive, comfortable, rattle-free and relatively quiet. As expected the handling and performance are exceptional. My car has the 4-speed automatic with the Performance Axle (3.15 ratio) option. If you don't go with the 6-speed manual transmission then the performance axle is the way to go. There is a noticeable difference in performance between the stock gear ration (2.73) and the performance ratio. My previous Corvette was a 1990 6-speed. It had a rough ride, rattled a lot, was noisy, and would make you feel tired after driving it for an hour. This car is nothing at all like that. My 2004 Corvette is a joy to drive and you feel refreshed rather than exhausted when you are done. The build quality is very good. The only thing that was wrong on mine is a paint drip on the lower portion of the driver's door. Because of problems with other cars related to painting (e.g., rattles probably caused by removal of door handle hardware) I decided to just live with this. It is about an inch long and not noticeable. The 2005 Corvette looks like a big step forward, but the 2004 cannot be faulted. It is a great car that can be found with big discounts, making it all that much more appealing.

2003 Chevrolet Corvette - Base Coupe

    Pros: the information center

Cons: it seems to leave the ground when you take a curve fast and hit bumps.

Advice: take advantage of the zero percent financing when possible.

I was thilled the whole time. This has been a wonderful year of driving. The concerns we have had have been addressed and we enjoy this car. We had concerns about the tires they were losing pressure. After two visits the problem seems to have been taking care of. We thought the information center may have been malfunctioning but it is ok. We have a dealer in Upland, Ca. that takes great care in giving good service, but it comes with a price. You will see that when you get your bill. We are going to the L.A. auto show and we may elect to buy another new Corvette Coupe, a 2004.

    2003 Chevrolet Corvette - Convertible

Pros: The end of year price was reduced by $8,000 to $39,800. Really a great deal for the money.

Cons: Outdated image inside/out, masses of plastic interior, chassis leaves the driver remote from the action, not much else.

Advice: If you cannot afford a ferrari or a porsche but want the......you can find much excitement in slower, cheaper cars! Corvette!

The Corvette transmission really saps performance. When I punch the accelerator, it doesn't seem to find the right combination of torque and rpms (in other words, it goes to too low a gear, overrevs and then loses speed when it shifts). Heavy traffic would eat the clutch in no time plus wear out your leg. I drove a freinds' Porsche 996TT last year and the corvette isn't even close. The Porsche scared the heck out of me.
