A lot of problems
Pros: The comfort of the vehicle.
Cons: The quality and performance should have gotten the 3.6.I am on a lease with this vehicle. Got it new in 2005. Since then it's had a new transmission, new radiator, new water pump. Just two months ago had to spend $400.00 as the Caddy place said I got some bad gas and had to have the injectors cleaned and all filters replaced. Even though I use Chevron fuel which is what they recommended. I just haven't been happy with the quality of the vehicle. We'll be getting rid of it in December. Thank God all the major repairs were covered under warranty.
Pros: It's hard to say what my favorite feature is. I like the power seats, with heat; the Bose stereo and CD player and the steering wheel/column easy controls,. I LOVE that it is dependable and safe!
Cons: I regret that the maintainence/upkeep is so expensive. The oil is expensive and when I replaced the windshield wipers I had price shock. Now that a couple of things have been taken care of, I love my car. There was a problem with water in the back floorboard after any heavy rain; the car is parked on a driveway, not a garage. Everyone thought it was coming from the moon roof but an astute worker took the car apart and found the leaking came from the back windshield. It was replaced and there has been no more leaking. The other minor problem was the air conditioner vent on the passenger side. It didn't work! They fixed it and now it works fine.
Best Cadillac Ive owned
Pros: To many to list
Cons: can't think of anything that I don't like.My 2009 CTS is the best Cadillac I have ever owned. I've had 11 Cadillacs and this one is the best of the bunch. It is very quiet and has a lot of get up and go. I love it. I've got 12,000 miles and no trouble. It is truly a world class car.
Pros: Heated seats.
Cons: Navigation system.I recently passed 50,000 miles and have never had the car in for anything other than routine maintenance. No rattles, squeaks or strange sounds. Fit and function are perfect. Only complaint is the navigation system is overly complicated and costs way too much for annual updates.
Very Nice car
Pros: Turning radius
Cons: Very poor treadlife on the stock tires. We bought the black-on-black 3.6 VVT w/6 speed manual transmission and the full Luxuary option was included. I added the 3M rock chip film protector and exterior/interior protection option. We also upgraded the floor mats and the trunk mat. The Boze 6 CD stereo w/ Navigation system was replaced at the dealership due to an electrical problem.
Pros: 6-speed manual.
Cons: Need to use hand brake to automatically move seats to the rear
Advice: Be prepared for the 'sports' ride. Not as smooth as other CadillacsI traded a 2003 LS6/Z06 for the 2007 CTS-V. Although it is not as powerful as the Z06, the Cady is still very powerful and fun to drive. I puchased the 6 speed manual. The car is more convenient than the Corvette and my wife will drive it. She was teriffied of the Z06. The cadillac gives us the best of both worlds---comfort and power. I am going to purchase a new CTS-V next year. Sincerely, Charles Conditt
Pros: Hard to pick just one as it has so many great features.
Cons: No Complaints.
Advice: Buy one, you will love it. This is my 13th Cadillac, no other car compares. Buy American. The DTS Premium Luxury Collection is the top of the line DTS. Has all the Bells and Whistles plus some you will not find on other brands. Handles like a dream, lots of power, very comfortable, plenty of interior and trunk room. There is no other car on the market that will compare to this Cadillac. Buy American,
