Pros: Memory power seats
Cons: Rear window does not open independently
Advice: don't be cheap, get the luxury packages they are worth every pennyWhat a great vehicle Buick has built. The third row seats along with the luxury package make this feel like a Mercedes for about $15000 less. Buick went all out and did not take any shortcuts on this on. The ride is smooth and luxurious but has the spaciousness of a full size truck. All I can say is thanks Buick.
Pros: Comfort and ride
Cons: no sunglass holder like the accord
Advice: get the leather interiorWhat a surprise. My previous cars were Accord and Camry. Both high-quality, dependable drives. But I wanted something just a little bigger and more comfortable. I found a great deal on a Regal program car. Now, this is a comfortable car. Just a pleasure to drive. The looks are refined and clean. No clutter -- inside or out. The 3.8 engine is perfect for highway driving. It's powerful and not to be confused with peppy.
Pros: (1) Large Car (2) Good gas mileage (3) Smooth and quiet ride
Cons: Image of 'Old Folks Car'
Advice: Good car with a history of good reliability.Great acceleration for a big car. Great fuel efficiency for a large car, and we are meeting the ratings for fuel use. A lot of interior room and cargo room. Good handling and a very smooth and quiet ride.
Pros: The interior room and versatility
Cons: The powerplant is too small
Advice: Make sure you get the rear parking aid, or paralell parking will be an advetureAfter six years of driving two GMC Jimmy trucks, switching to the Buick Rendezvous has been a most welcome change. From one drive, I immediately noticed three major differences: First, the wider, roomier feel inside. Compared to the Jimmy/Blazer, this truck's interior is huge. Also, having test-driven the new TrailBlazer before purchasing the Buick, I can say it feels roomier than the new Chevy as well. Second, the smooth and quiet ride. I have occasionally turned the radio off and closed the windows just to 'listen' to the silence. Third, the interior's more sophisticated look and feel. Very car-like and nicely appointed. I must admit, when I first laid eyes on the Rendezvous at it's introduction last year, I was not in love with the exterior's look, but it too, has grown on me, and I now appreciate that it's not like every other cookie-cutter SUV on the road. It gets noticed. Study this truck for some time, and it's quirky good looks become evident. The truck really has nice lines. This is by no means, the perfect SUV, but the only fault I can point to so far is the engine. While it's powerful enough to get by, Buick needs to up the horsepower for sure. GM's 3.8 litre would make this a screamer. I would recommend this truck without reservation.
Pros: touring suspension
Cons: Outside mirrors too high for my very short wife
Advice: Drive it, you'll like itGood acceleration. Excellent seating comfort Excellent highway feel with the touring suspension.
Pros: I love the power seats best of all. Never had power seats before.
Cons: The seats seem hard to set on.
Advice: Just drive it.I was especially pleased with the quietness of this Buick. The handeling was excellent, very responsive. Surprisenly the 3800 engine is powerful and smooth.
Pros: 'Heads-up' Display, OnStar System, Heated Leather seats
Cons: Not as quiet as I would expect or like.
Advice: You will not find a better value for the price - Use the extra cash to go on a vacation trip.I've owned & driven this vehicle for 10 months. It has the comfort and ride of a car, the feel and performance of a SUV, and the seating/convenience of a minivan.
