2003 Mitsubishi Outlander - XLS AWD
Pros: Styling
Cons: Ride
Advice: O.K. if you have to buy a mitsubishi
Just test drove one today and was suprised at how rough the ride was. I've driven the CR-V and the Rav-4 and the Outlander was not nearly as smooth. Much more similar to a truck based SUV than a car based vehicle. Power was very disappointing. It felt more like 120 h.p. than 140. Interior was just OK. Not enough cubbies and the rear seats just fold down and don't flip and fold. This results in a load floor that is not flat but is too high and cuts down on cargo capacity. Interior materials were only so-so. -
2003 Mitsubishi Outlander - XLS FWD
Pros: ride and comfort plus looks
Cons: nothing yet
Advice: don't be fooled by the hype of honda, toyota.this suv is better
i drove the crv and rav 4 and i wonder who reveiws the suv's.my outlander xls by far rides better and is more quite at speed, plus is more comfortable than the compition.it is very solid and you can feel plus see the quality build of this new entry suv.with the 4 speed sportronic automatic transmission which is standard equipment and provides better performance than ive read in any reveiws to this point.don't worry this is a fine suv and i would recomend this outlander to anybody looking for the smaller suv's.
