    2002 Mitsubishi Diamante - LS (A4)

    Pros: Everything

    Cons: Nothing

Advice: First test drive a Mitsubishi before buy a different car and feel it.Compare the price, waranty and the features and then decide what to buy.

This is a very smooth car that really couldnt recognize for the people who called pros.Every single person that I know respect this car and they thinks its really cool. Most of them hadn't even heard about the Diamante before, so I love it I dont drive a car that you can see in every corner.Designe is unique and acceleration is awesome.Comfirt is really high and the music is exceptional.Lot of features.I owned this car for 2 and half years and I didnt hv any trouble besides an oil change.I did test drives on many cars in this class and non of them were better than the Diamante.I love my 03 Diamante and its a great car.My next car will be a Mitsubishi, but not a Diamante because They dont sell Diamante in USA anymore.

    2002 Mitsubishi Diamante - LS (A4)

    Pros: heated seats

    Cons: horn

Advice: great car for the money

I have owned my Diamante for 3 years (25,000 miles) with very few complaints. I do 90% in-town driving and get about 19 mpg. The few complaints I do have are that the back window rattles when open, the tires are already worn out at 25,000 miles, and the horn sounds like a moped but that's minor. The stereo system ROCKS and the heated seats are not only appreciated during our cold winters, but during long trips as well. I hear the back seat is comfortable, but I wouldn't know, I'm not giving up the driver's seat! By the way I have a 2002 and it DOES have a pass-through from the trunk - the back seat arm rest when in the 'down' position has a door that opens and closes; while not complete seat-sized, you can fit a couple of pairs of skis through it.

    2004 Mitsubishi Diamante - ES

    Pros: HUGE roomy trunk!

Cons: Unbelievably bad fuel efficiency for its size

    Advice: none

I just drove this car for about two weeks as a rental. While this car drives wonderfully, whomever is checking the gas efficiency must have been driving downhill. I didn't even get 20mpg on the highway - it was closer to 19, and I was getting a robust 11 mpg in the city! And that was without air conditioning or heat! My SUV gets better gas mileage than that!

    2002 Mitsubishi Diamante - LS (A4)

    Pros: sound system

    Cons: nothing

Advice: compare this cars ride and comfort to other cars before you buy.

One of the smoothest rides of any cars tested. The features such as memory adjustable seats make it easy to switch drivers. The styling is unique, giving you the feeling that you are not driving the same car as everyone else.
