Pros: The Looks

Advice: GET ONEI own a Black 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. I LOVE IT, would NOT trade it for ANYTHING. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, Drives Awesome, SHARP, LOOKS EVEN BETTER, CD player ROCKS. My only adive BUY ONE, YOU WON'T BE SORRY, I PROMISE!!! :)
Pros: The body style, and of course the rag top
Advice: If you're looking for a car that's a blast to drive and a real head turner - get a Mitsubishi SpyderFun to drive, handles like a dream, has plenty of power even for a 4-cylinder.
Pros: the convertible top go's down fast
Cons: i think every thing was great ,nothing was bad
Advice: it go's fastBUY IT !!!!!! IT'S GREAT!!!!!!!!
Advice: get itgot handles easy, has plenty of pep, good looking
Pros: automatic start (I purchased seperate and had installed)
Cons: leg/head room
Advice: DO NOT BUY!!I wanted this car since 2000 when they came out with the new body style. I use to have a 1997 (old style) Eclipse. The one thing this car has is it's looks and thats about it.I bought it brand new and was in love, until I drove it every day.It does have nice pick up, very fast. I do not like the way it handles, I feel as if I am all over the road. The wind noise is bad (with the top up). It is not good on gas at all. No room in the back for any passengers, my 5 year old nephew has just enough leg room in the back. Overall the car catches your eye and is an excellent attention getter, as long as you don't mind driving in discomfort with the feeling of no control over the car.
Pros: just one? tough to choose - probably the handling and powertrain
Cons: its difficult to adjust the mirrors to lose the blind spots with the top up at first.
Advice: buy the V-6If you're going to buy a sport convertible, why buy the 4 cylinder instead of the 6? Why purchase the lower end instead of going for the top? And if you do go with the smaller engine and non performance set up, don't complain about the lack of responsiveness, you get what you pay for. When you buy the GTS, you get a car that acts like a sports car and is every bit as rseponsive as it purports to be. The sport-tronic transmission, Goodyear Eagles, and the V-6 make this an awesome ride for the price. The absolute best value on the market today, bar none.
Pros: the fact that its a convertible
Cons: you kinda get squished in the back seat
Advice: GET IT!!!this car is the BEST!! the ride is smooth and the sound system is great. it is probably one of the best looking cars out there. i have not had any problems with it so far. I LOVE THIS CAR!!! YOU SHOULD SERIOUSLY CONSIDER GETTING ONE!!! you wont regret it
