Pros: Rear air
Cons: The rear seats aren't stowable within the van.
Advice: Compare value to similar models! The van is reasonably priced with all of its options. The model we drove had leather interior, sunroof, two tone body molding etc. The van comes equipped with 8-way driver seat and 4-way passenger seat auto. Rear air/with vent over every seat. The rear vent windows are elec as well as everything else[except the two side doors:(] The van has plenty of leg room, front and back. I was amazed at how quiet it was inside. Roadnoise is minimal and the engine is undetectable. This is really an amazing vehicle. Honda Odyssey minus the stowable rear seats, but $10,000 less.
Pros: The tinted windows.
Cons: The third row seating.
Advice: I suggest you get the most expensive the XLE because the minivan would be alot better if you had leather and more options than the CE.I like the Sienna very much, but it also has many bad qualities. The steering is alittle rough and the third row seating is very hard to get into. However, the minivan drives very smoothly and and the quality of the car is just amazing.
Pros: automatic doors-both sliding and rear hatch
Advice: They don't deal as well on the EX, but you get more features for the price.I had a 97 Grand Caravan Sport and traded it for a Suburban. We thought we wanted an SUV. I missed my van. I just bought a new EX in stone white. It is beautiful. Many new features than my 97. I'll never let go of my mini van again. My boys are 3 and 18 mos. and this is the best vehicle for kids!
Pros: power and handling
Cons: i would like brighter reversing lights
Advice: go for itwe got the lx with leather and dvd. we love it best car I ever owned we traded a 2001 odyssey lx and I loved that. But the new one has more power, 5 speed auto,4 wheel disc brakes, side air bags, better sound system, the dvd works great, overall worth every penny of the $30,000 best of all the trade in value on the 2001 odyssey was great
Pros: I enjoy the sunroof/leather package along with the quality of the radio/CD player.
Cons: Gas Mileage and cargo space with all three rows in.
Advice: Buy the EX modelThe test drive went very well. I was overwhelmed by all of
Pros: Engine with 5 speed automatic
Cons: Low EPA but we are getting better then was listed.
Advice: Drive this Van and compare the price.A very soild smooth and quiet driving and riding Van. The 195hp engine and 5 speed automatic give it plenty of power in traffic and cruises at less rpm then our 97 Toyota Avalon at highway speeds. The Sedona van has many features standard that you can't even get with other vans as an option. Like a full size spare, power passenger seat, or a windshield deicer to mention a few. The qaulity is tops with leather seats and all. You can't beat the price or warranty anywhere.
Pros: VERSATILITY ... VERY CONVIENIENT... ELECTRIC SIDE DOOR
Cons: Hard to say ... maybe the armrest could have more cushion.
Advice: I would highly recommend the MONTANAI've owned a Pontiac Montana for 3 years .. it had to be repaired one time for a minor repair .. a small foreign made motor on the rear window had to be replaced ... it was repaired when I took it in for a routine oil change in less than a hour.... that's it. It's as reliable and comfortable as any Minivan on the road .. I would highly recommend the MONTANA ... I owned a Voyager for 9 years ... which was a good van also .. but the Montana is a step above ... it does most things better .. it rides quieter ... smoother and the Electric side door is fantastic ... it saves a lot of grief when loading and unloading .. especially in bad weather ... this van gets a 'work out' and takes it all in stride .. the gas miliage is better also .. the 185HP engine has 'guts' and is well suited. 4x8 sheets of material fit easily... you can close all doors and not even have to take seats out ... just fold the back seats down and the material rests on top of the back of the seat.... I just bought a Rendezvous that has the same drivetrain as our MONTANA ... I think it is the best going ... I've heard nothing but good about it... from mechanics ..and owners.
