    2005 Mercury Montego - Premier (130A) AWD

    Pros: Smooth ride & handling.

    Cons: Nothing

Advice: It's definately not a sports car - but a great sedan!

I bought my Montego USED and I still can't figure out why it was traded in. It handled Central PA snow like it wasn't there! Great interior features. I'm getting 24 mpg city and 28 highway. This is puzzling since other reviews state less. I'm not doing anything special and live in a hilly area. The ride is smooth and comfortable. I receive great comments from all who ride in it, especially the rear seat space. The safety features are numerous and since this is my business car and I do drive an average of 25K to 30K miles a year, it's a great comfort.

    2007 Mercury Milan - I4 Premier (110A) FWD

    Pros: Style

    Cons: Engine

    Advice: Test drive!

It embodies all that a young mom wants: style, safety, extra features(leather, sound system), lots of room!! Everyone compliments my car, its a head turner for sure. I would give it a 5 star rating if the engine was a cvt and if they would make the gas tank cap locking. I recommend this car!

    2005 Mercury Montego - Premier (130A) AWD

Pros: All- it had EVERYTHING I wanted standard with this model.

Cons: After 1 1/2 years I still can't think of anything, other than the telescopic steerig wheel would have been a nice feature.

Advice: If you are worried about horsepower reviews on this first year model, I wouldn't worry unless you are a speed demon as this car has always come through in every situation needed for acceleration.

I ignored all the car magazines reviews and read all the internet cconsumer reviews when purchasing this car and I am so extremely happy that I did. It is truely the BEST car I have ever owned. Everything I wanted is standard in this model, and I have never owned any vehicle where so many passengers have commented about how much they enjoyed riding in it as well. Excellent seat controls and comfort. Great sound system. And if you need to transport alot of stuff- this car will hold as much as a pick up truck with an 8ft bed with a cab on top- I can testify to that as in an emergency situation it happened to us. You know how many different cars parking attendants drive, well I always receive compliments from them about what a great car this is. As far as acceleration goes- I have not had any problems even with heavy people in the backseat- I just punch it a little and she takes off with ease, and the accelaration above 60mph is incredible even up hills she seems to like the challenge. Handling is incredible as she hugs the road in all weather condition even in extreme rain downpours when others are pulling off the road- probably thanks to the standard Pirelli tires- I have never felt safer in a car. Had 12 inches of snow fall overnight and the driveway wasn't plowed yet and she went through it like it never snowed at all and didn't even have to use the traction control. I have a bad back and the heated seating makes it possible for me to drive without my legs cramping up. Inside looks great. Love the large deep drink holders as they will fit everything with no chance of spilling. I wasn't fond of the grey marble on the dash at first- but with all the positive comments from different friends from England on how great it looked, it changed my view, and I realized how it wonderfully completes the interior package. Great gas mileage for an AWD, and you would never guess you were in a AWD vehicle as the ride is so smooth, quite and comfortable.

    2007 Mercury Milan - Premier (150A) AWD

Pros: Duratec V6 six-speed automatic transmission engine, AWD. The spoiler adds a very nice touch.

Cons: Engineers could put a bit more effort on the interior aesthetics.

Advice: Don't write this car off. At least go take a look at it and take it out for a test drive.

I walked into a Lincoln/Mercury dealership looking for a SUV with AWD that was going to replace my Audi A4 Quattro. I didn't even know that an AWD sedan from Mercury existed. I saw the one in the showroom and I immediately liked the style, and all of the convenient features. I was initially skeptical about the performance because I liked my Audi so much, but the test drive immediately got rid of any doubts. The V6 3.0 liter engine definitely does its job to put out the maximum 221 bhp when it needs to. The car is quick enough when it needs to be quick, and quiet enough at all times so that you can enjoy the stereo system the way you're supposed to. I compared the car to a Nissan Altima, a Toyota Camry, a Honda Accord and a Volvo S40 AWD, but overall, there was no question in my mind that my fully-loaded Milan was the best of the bunch. And to think that I paid at least $3,500 less for this car than I would have for any of the others, it was a no-brainer. It helped that my dealer, Town Motors of Englewood, NJ, offered me a very reasonable trade for my Audi and that I was able to get 3.9% financing for 48 months, along with a $1,000 manufacturer's rebate. The salesperson was never aggressive and always understanding. The financing was smooth. It provided me with enough leftover cash that I extended my bumper-to-bumper warranty to 5/75,000 miles and I treated myself to a Garmin Nuvi 350 GPS system, and I'll still be able to put in an extra $123 per month into our savings account.

    2006 Mercury Milan - I4 Premier (110A)

    Pros: the whole car

    Cons: nothing at all

Advice: Make sure your sales person explains everything your milan has to offer.

I fell in love with this car the minute i sat in it. Im 21 and have 2 babies so i wanted to have the room and saftey features i needed, but i still wanted the sporty look...Milan offered everything i was looking for. The premium cloth is awesome. The interior and exterior is dynamic and very distinctive. If you are looking for something different and upscale the Mercury Milan is the way to go! I'm extremely happy.

    2006 Mercury Milan - I4 Premier (110A)

Pros: precision styling and amazing comfort

Cons: transmission and the reverse visibility (I'm 5'-8' and can't see hardly anything)

Advice: test drive one, tell your friends and neighbors to do the same...

I bought a brand new Fusion S, decided that I didn't like the ugly grille and the lack of features. Saw a Milan Premier in the lot, perfect color/options combinations, so I traded for it. The car has 15k on it (my Fusion has 4k), but the heated leather seats, moonroof, and rims made up for those extra 11,000 miles. Adaptive Transmission really made me HATE the automatic after getting rid of the 5-speed manual... they tell me that the thing will eventually get used to me and will shift when I want it to. Note: the transmission has only L and D, no 2nd gear or OD lockout! I'm thinking about trading up to a 5-speed pretty soon...

    2007 Mercury Milan - (140A) AWD

Pros: Leather seats & tight steering

    Cons: Cheesy wheel rims

Advice: Test drive the all wheel drive model, as well, to get the feeling of that heavier ride.

Test drove 2 of them today (both V-6, one in all-wheel drive). Considering that my last car was a Jaguar X-Type (it was totaled in an accident), I was very pleasantly surprised while driving this vehicle. It handles very well, and has a great interior design. The steering is pretty tight, and the all-wheel drive really pulls some weight. My neighbor bought one of these last month & loves it, so I had to see for myself. Needless to say, I am considering it over the German & Japanese cars that I've tried, so far. Many great amenities & matched by a great price!!
