2003 Mercury Marauder
Detroit Steel was the best
Pros: luxury with sport handling
Cons: no convertables
The Marauder is the best car I have owned. It has had work done on it and performs as such. The fact that 'global warming' is a fraud has more people asking about the large black sedan. We have 300 years of oil, coal and naturasl gas available to us in this country. It is time to put Al Gore in jail for profiteering fraud and drill and mine ourselves; cleanly, into a higher life style and job market for us and the entire world. All the while, since carbon is a friend of plants and therefore of man, concentrating on real pollution issues and keeping America clean and pristine; while enjoying Detroit Steel.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? 2008 Mercury Milan
Pros: sync & serius radio
Cons: nothing about it that I don't like
Best vehicle I have owned. That includes Cadillac, Buick, plymouth, and others. Did anyone figure the cost-equivalent of electricity vs gasoline. Electricity is now equal to $3.50 per gallon and with cap and trade will go to something in the range of $5.50 per gallon.,- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

2010 Mercury Grand Marquis - Base
Pros: The trunk--I haul large and heavy containers. You can actually put such things in this trunk easily.
Cons: I really have no dislikes.
Advice: Expect all the power a reasonable driver needs, suprisingly good fuel economy for a large car, and a good comfortable ride.
I did not test drive the car, I simply bought it. I previously had a 2004 Grand Marquis which I traded away. I liked that car, so I found my 2010 on the Internet, closed the deal on the phone, and bought the car. -
2010 Mercury Milan - AWD
Pros: Handling
Cons: Mileage could be better
Advice: Get one...........
Owned one for 6 months now and am highly pleased. I wanted to buy a Ford product since they did not take any taxpayer money...So glad I chose the Merc Milan......... -
2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid - Base
Pros: Engine diagnostics that tell you how efficiently you are driving, Sync
Cons: Nothing
Advice: Strongly consider this one
Outstanding car. Has the comfort of a much larger car, but fuel economy is great. Can regularly get better than the posted milage once you get the hang out of maximizing the elctric motor. Sync feature is without comparison in other vehicles. -
2007 Mercury Mountaineer - Base V6 (310A) AWD
Pros: size
Cons: gas mileage/transmision
Advice: don't
I, like many of the others have also had transmission problems. The comfort and the room are ok. The style is above par. However, when you still owe for your vehicle you don't really want to put 1,000 dollars into fixing the transmission. I don't know about anyone else but I will never buy a Ford/Mercury product again. -
2008 Mercury Mariner - Premier (330A) 4x4
Pros: heated seats!
Cons: access to the jack
Advice: drive a honda first..and then try the Mariner Premier..same price, no comparison
After two years in the Escape Hybrid 2WD (not recommended) I was looking for something that was quieter, more comfortable, large enough to transport an 85 pound dog, a kayak or skiis..and provided the safety of full air bag and electronic stability control. The price point on the upgraded Premier Mariner was far more competetive with the equipment than any of the others in this class. It drives and handles extremely well, with a smooth ride, good acceleration, excellent trim and finish, and it is QUIET inside! I am not one to extol the virtues of any car I buy..and all of them have had their weaknesses. However, I think this Mariner is nearly as perfect a design of any SUV in the price range. Oh, and the back-up sensor system ( my first) is absolutely great for parking and backing movements!
