    2006 Mercury Milan - I4 (100A)

Pros: Handling and Front End appearance

    Cons: Nothing

Advice: Try the 5 speed. You will love it!

We leased an I4 with the 5 speed manual transmission. We live in the mountains of North Carolina near Asheville and the Milan has been a blast to drive. Plenty of power and an excellent transmission. The handling of this vehicle on curvy mountain roads is supurb. The trunk has plenty of room when you are on a trip. We are averaging 28 miles per gallon. With about 7000 miles on the car quality still looks excellent.

    2006 Mercury Milan - I4 Premier (110A)

Pros: The two-tone leather interior and terrific MP3 player.

    Cons: At this point, nothing.

Advice: Just take it for a spin, it sells it's self.

The Milan drives as dynamic as it looks. The finish quality, power train, suspension, brakes and interior and sound system, are all, above average. My Wife and I find excuses to get in and drive this car. The Milan I-4 AT has achieved 22.7 mpg in town and as high as 35 mpg on the highway. We can’t believe the amount of automobile, we purchased for the money. I can’t wait to see what the fuel economy will be, when we finally break the engine in!

    2006 Mercury Milan - V6 (120A)

    Pros: V6 Engine Performance.

Cons: Limited rear visability through the rear window.

    Advice: Give it a drive.

I wanted a slightly larger vehicle than my 1994 Audi 90CS, and test drove a Honda Accord, Ford Fusion, Pontiac G6 and Hyundai Sonata before settling on the Milan. It was a tough choice for me between the V6 Sonata and the Milan, but the styling of the Milan and the handling won me over. The local dealer also offered me a better lease deal than the Hyundai dealer did. And the Milan hasn't disappointed me yet. I am amazed that the car has such fantastic performance and still returns over 24 miles per gallon on my mixed drive to work. It's much more comfortable than my previous car and certainly more quiet. What a great stereo... and it's the standard one besides.

    2006 Mercury Milan - V6 Premier (130A)

Pros: The way it drives ... the contemporary look ... value

Cons: Having to wait a week while they found my color.

    Advice: Just go drive one

WOW ! The more I drive my new Milan the more I like it. Great looks, Great driveability, lots of room, lots of toys. Taurus (Sable) were big sellers for Ford for years but got long in the tooth. This replacement is world class for a reasonable price. Not a complaint with the quality, acceleration, smoothness, crisp steering of this car. Better overall value than Toyota and Honda. Lincoln/Mercury has always built a fine reliable car (just check J.D. Powers dependability survey) Lincoln/Mercury is back in the CAR business and got it right.

    2006 Mercury Milan - I4 Premier (110A)

Pros: a really sharp looking exterior...love the sound system and 6cd changer in the dash

Cons: lack of options in a good comfort package

Advice: be sure you drive it before you buy it

I just traded a 2002 Sable fully loaded for a Premium Mercury Milan. I was seduced by the looks of this car, but after having driven it about 700 miles, I miss the comfort and handling of my Sable. There are not enough options on this car to make me a happy camper. Where are the double visors on the driver's side? What a blessing that idea was. Where is the keyless entry? I got used to not having to lug keys around for four years...now! what gives? I miss the compass in the rearview mirror...and power steering? Give me a break. I feel like I'm driving an old pickup truck w/ no power steering at all, and the lack of visibility from the rear window is really sad. I can't believe this car is fully loaded. I am so disappointed...

    2006 Mercury Milan - V6 (120A)

    Pros: Handling

Cons: Could have offered more options as standards as you can find in Hyundai Sonata

Advice: When looking for a new car

Finally, Mecury has a winner. I bought this car 1 1/2 months ago. I am just loving driving it. It has power, styling and comfort. I think, Merecury and Ford this time has finally done their howework and put a car on the road which can give a good fight to Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. I would have never thought of buying a Mercury until I saw this car.

    2006 Mercury Milan - I4 Premier (110A)

Pros: Interior styling, two tone leather with contrast stitching

Cons: no rear air conditoning vents for back seat..no IPOD connection, no XM satelite radio option

Advice: order what you want, takes about 6 weeks

I have driven the V-6 with auto and the 4 with manual. I have decided to order a 4 with manual trans. It seemed to be more fun to drive, too bad they don't have a manual on the V-6 or a turbo option on the 4. So what I have decided to order is a 4 premier with manual and audiophile, comfort package, safety package, heated seats.I love the two-tone leather seats with contrast stitching and the aluminum accent interior trim. I ordered the Charcoal Beige exterior. It seems to ride great and has good handling, my previous cars were a Jag X-Type 3.0 and VW New Beetle turbo sport.
