Detroit Steel was the best
Pros: luxury with sport handling
Cons: no convertablesThe Marauder is the best car I have owned. It has had work done on it and performs as such. The fact that 'global warming' is a fraud has more people asking about the large black sedan. We have 300 years of oil, coal and naturasl gas available to us in this country. It is time to put Al Gore in jail for profiteering fraud and drill and mine ourselves; cleanly, into a higher life style and job market for us and the entire world. All the while, since carbon is a friend of plants and therefore of man, concentrating on real pollution issues and keeping America clean and pristine; while enjoying Detroit Steel.
Pros: Great overall package
Cons: Low end torque, speed limiter :o(
Advice: Best performance for the money. This is the most under appreciated American performance vehicle on the market. Yes, there could be more power and low end torque. Yes, there is more potential than the 117 mph electronic speed limiter allows. There is at least 160 mph in the engine. Aftermarket modifications can fix that. I guess they have to give the Police a fighting chance. As a retired officer, trust me, it runs away from it's cousin with emergency equipment. Overall this is one fine automobile, You have to appreciate American muscle to understand the car. I fear that the Marauder will go away soon due to low sales. The general population just don't understand. I now have three (3). In the hands of a trained driver, It's impressive. Oh Yes, It has surprised many german engineered image cars.
Cons: Inside mirror
Advice: Check it outGreat Car for performance and family
Pros: Looks & driveability.
Cons: No foot rest for left foot,I am used to one.Sable has one!!
Advice: drive it & NOT around the local 30 mph.streets, RUN it & see.The car seems to be a winner, sofar, ask me in 14 mos. from now & it may be a diff.story,I hope not cause I bought it after the test ride.Ithas plentyof power & guts & sounds super good with the twin pipes & 302 hp endine.Car is fully loaded, with what I wanted.
Pros: Engine - suspension
Cons: Seats need more lateral support
Advice: Don't hesistate - you won't regret the purchaseI love this car. I am 47 years old and it is a throw back to an early time of hemi heads and four barrel carbs but with all the best and latest technology packed in. It is a muscle car with a sports sedan suspension. I traded a four soon to be five year old Posrche Boxter for it. Call me crazy - I loved the Boxter for its heady German appeal -- style and mid enginer engineering. But my relationship to this car is more visceral. I enjoy salmon, but I really love a 1 and 1/2 inch thick New York strip steak even more. (By the way this car is as fast as the Boxter - 0-60 and close at top end.) This is the same kind of experience comparision. So if you are considering the jump to the Marauder - go for it and let's all meet at Pikes Peak next summer and raise a toast to Parnelli Jones.
Pros: the whole car
Advice: buy onea all around great car
Cons: lack of a wheel locks is ridiculous...
Advice: Buy the car without the cargo organizer option and make the dealer throw it and the wheel locks in for free.I purchased this car cause after driving oversized stationwagons (read suvs and minivans). I wanted something that looked a lot more ominous. I also got tired of the relative boat rides u get with the aforementiond vehicles. I wanted something like my 97 sho but bigger since my sons are 6 ft teenagers now. I also wanted to actually move when I hit the gas. This vehicle has it all in spades. I am totally happy with the control and power. It gets the looks. It sounds like a car should. It has all the ammenities. The stereo rocks. Dont let the rear wheel drive scare ya it handles snow great. Its a fun car sums it up real well. ; ) Wont kill your insurance rate like a mustang.
