Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Pros: Smoothest cruise control ever.
Cons: Car does not respond instantly when accererating.
Advice: Thorough test drive.Accelerates and handles extremely well at highway speeds. Poor acceleration, rough transmission shifts at low speeds.Defrosters do not clear fogged windows quickly.
Pros: GREAT car for the money.
Advice: For a really sporty look, do the wheel package. At $750, a bargain. What really surprised me was the quickness--and my last car was a Cadillac STS. I'm not saying this little coupe is that fast, but it's surprisingly quick. I think to experience it best you need the 6-speed manual. (In fact, if ever a car was MADE to be a stick, this is it.) The look grows on you, and grows on you. Inside, it just feels classy. I kept thinking, I'm really going to get this car for under $30,000? I better get it before they change their minds. Surprisingly good room in the back seats--not for BIG people--but better than you'd think. My biggest concern came when I looked at the trunk and wondered how I'd get my golf clubs in. But they answered that with the split fold-down seats. The wheel package really adds the finishing touch to the sport feeling.
Pros: Ability to talk to information agent thru the car speakers.
Cons: No automatic headlights.
Advice: Buy it; you'll love it. Others don't come close to the prestige. We considered ourselves permanent Cadillac owners, but my husband wanted to test drive other luxury cars. We had almost decided on a new Jaguar when my son recommended that we try the Mercedes. That first test drive sold us; the drive, the luxuriious feel, the acceleration, the salesman, the warranty, the service, the safety features -- all were incomparable. Talking to Mercedes Benz information over the speakers in the car was awesome! It made us feel like we were in James Bond's car!
Pros: short commute only
Cons: shape like 'honda'
Advice: check out other car & better dealernot too smooth ride when compare to other japanese import, noisy, platic part too much even door latch & far small for me 5'11 while my wife like the name MB ,think paying too much $
Cons: Automatic climate control does not work as well as it should
Advice: Get the sunroof!Other than an occasional hesitation when cold, this car kicks! Despite its small size, the interior room is excellent (although getting in and out is a little tricky for a 6-footer like me). The car has a solid feel and handles precisely and predictably. The ride is firm but smooth. From the side it looks a little Honda-like, but from the front and the rear, it has a distinct look all its own. The panoramic roof is awesome...don't get a C-Coupe without it. Safety features galore, great visibility, also make this car a winner. And the price can't be beat.
Pros: The double moonroof
Cons: The cloth interior
Advice: You have to get the double moonroof. This car is great! Not only do u get looks but its a smooth drive and easy to handle.
Pros: Breaks and handling.
Cons: Seat confort.
Advice: Check into the electric problems.I own a 2002 one, great car. It has some electrical prfoblems. Álso fuel injection or filtering problems.
