Pros: Smooth Power, Ride. Keeping BMW far in RView MIRROR
Cons: Only needs service every 10K miles
Advice: Buy it used with Starmark 100K/7yr warranty..Skip C240sC320 Sportwagon is luxurious, fast, handles well and brakes hard with no dip. None of the harshness of BMW. Lack of maintenance is a plus. Couple of very minor problems were fixed promptly (and got an E-500 loaner to boot). Dealer treats customer's well. This small wagon has loads of power. Lots of airbags and safety features. The radio needs some work - little bass until its cranked up or have CDs with prominent bass. Would like to see AMG sportswagon variant. Best little car I've owned...approaches porsche in quality. Trumps audi(an overpriced VW) in every respect..Skip the c240. MB spends more on the C320 or above. Drove the C230Kompressor 4dr...was real fun to..
Cons: the fell of the 'brake by wire' brake pedal
Advice: Don't let the price disuade you. The way you feel driving a Mercedes has no comparision.Suspension, acceleration and styling are wonderful.
Pros: New engine and sport suspension and 17in wheels
Cons: exaust note needs more growl, needs ac outlets
Advice: Buy the C230 Sport Kompressor and they will deal.We bought the C230 Sport Sedan with the new 1.8 all aluminum, intercooled, super charged (Kompressor) engine. The Fun To Drive Factor is a 10. With the distictive front and rear, the only cars out there that look similiar are other Benz's. We love the 17in wheels with low profile, high performance tires, this combined with the sport tuned suspension make for a fun dive.
Pros: Road handling and acceleration
Cons: Leaving the car after driving.
Advice: Don't hesitate; just do it.Exceptional performance and quality.
Pros: easy top to get up or down... and looks of the vehicle
Cons: size... could be a little larger
Advice: buy itThis is a very fast car. It handles well around curves. It is a car that is incredibly fun to drive. I was looking for a larger car, but I test drove this one and it made my heart come alive. The convertible is a breeze so to speak... with one quick push of a button you have a coupe and then a topless beauty. The car is also incredibly quiet on the highway. When the top is up... you will be very surprised. Enjoy!!!
Pros: Watching the roof open and close
Cons: Accelerator needs a heavy push
Advice: An awesome second carI ordered my car in 5/02 and received it in 9/02. It's by far the best car I've owned, and handles very well. The engine is very powerful, as are the brakes. The CLK is a very good looking car with the top up, and beautiful with the top down. It turns heads everywhere it goes. The back seat is very small, but can be used if necessary. This car makes me look forward to sunny days and nice weather. It's very solid, and relatively heavy for its size, giving it a very safe overall feeling. ABS,ESP and Brake Assist only add to this feeling.
Pros: Appearance Package
Advice: Buy ItMy wife is loving her 2003 Ice Blue CLK320 with the appearance package and NAVI. It took 8 months to get it. Well worth the wait. The appearance package with the aluminum replacing the wood and the Charcoal Leather makes the interior. The metal pedals are radical too. This car drives fantastic and handles like a true German sports coupe should. No negatives except only 1 cup holder in the front.
