Pros: panoramic sun roof (the best in its class)

Cons: rear end finish

Advice: per sq ft what you pay

WOW, I had ML series before, then drove other mercedes vehciles, i almost bought Audi Q7, then drove this R 350. Ride is as smooth as it can be, mileage for the size of this vehicle is phenomenal. Basically this is a S class and GL mixed in one with a beautifully carved vehicle for the price you pay.

Pros: Panoramic sun roof

Cons: Small cargo space

Advice: Enjoy the R-class

The only disappointment on the R-class is the lack of cargo space. My wife and I enjoy the panoramic view and the confortable ride and seating for six. Fuel economy is good for a vehicle this size.

Pros: To many favorites, but I'd have to say its overall appearance.

Cons: Parktronic and power lift gate should be standard.

Advice: Parktronic, to help with those tight spaces and the power lift gate, especially if your shorter than 5' 6'.

Overall I give the R350 a 9 out of 10. The suspension, power and handling are definetly not what you'd expect from a vehicle whose size is comparable to the escalade. I forget that im drivng a truck most of the time, that is until I have to parallel park. One word describes this car best 'smooth'.

Pros: seating of six

Cons: lack of cargo area and shift controls

Advice: see the vehicle and drive it before buying.

Vehicle had ample power, smooth in every aspect in handling. Did not particularly like the steering wheel controls, especially the shifting to manual from automatic. You can accidently change. WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE LACK OF CARGO AREA WITH ALL THREE ROWS UP AND OCCUPIED. You seem to be between a wagon/suv and crossover. I did not buy it because of the lack of cargo area.
