2012 Mercedes Benz E350 Coupe Video Road Test and Review

The Mercedes-Benz E350 Coupe is a two-door variant of the brand's popular E-Class sedan.  The sleek styling of the Mercedes-Benz E350 Coupe (MSRP $49,800) is capable of carrying four passengers and it also offers an impressive number of standard features including a full range of power accessories, an automatic brake drying system, dual automatic climate control, Bluetooth integration, MB Tex synthetic leather seats, a sunroof, the COMAND communications and entertainment interface and a CD player.

The Mercedes-Benz E350 Coupe is motivated by a 3.5-liter V-6 that can be counted on to produce 302 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque.  A seven-speed automatic transmission manages this output, and rear-wheel drive is standard with the two-door Benz.  Fuel economy for the E350 Coupe is rated at 18-mpg in stop and go driving and 25-mpg on the highway, thanks in part to the use of direct-injection technology.

The Mercedes-Benz E350 Coupe can be upgraded via the selection of a number of different options packages.  The Driver Assistance package includes adaptive cruise control and the features of the Lane Tracking package (blind spot warning system, lane departure warning system), while the Premium 1 package installs heated seats, a better stereo system, a rearview camera and navigation.  The Premium 2 package expands on the Premium 1 features to include HID headlights and a power trunk.  A panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel and night vision can also be ordered with the E350 coupe, and safety equipment includes an extensive complement of airbags as well as electronic traction control and stability control.
