    2004 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class - Convertible

Pros: Using the Key FOB to bring the Top Down

    Cons: Nothing

    Advice: Buy It

This car is a bargain at the price its selling for. Don't order one and wait six months or more. Call the dealer and grab a car on the lot when it comes in.

    2004 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class - Coupe

Pros: Driving with the roof open and hearing the exhaust growl.

Cons: Absence of CD changer. Only one cup holder?

Advice: Drive the CLK 320 AND 500 back to back. Go for the extra grunt and appearance.

This car is awesume. You will love the performance and braking. Be careful and watch your speed, since you are moving faster than you think... The absence of the B pillar makes a stunning appearance package. Watch your friends drool when when you drop the windows down from the key fob. If you want a convertible and a coupe in one car this is it.

    2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class - Coupe

    Pros: Handling

Cons: The warranty and customer support

Advice: You will be treated poorly by Mercedes

Awful warranty service from Mercedes. My car required new front tires and an alignment at only 10,500 miles. My car has a computer which indicates when its first service should take place. Mine indicated it wanted service at 10,500 miles and after 15 months of ownership. When I took it in for service the dealer pointed out unusual wear on my left front tire and said both fronts had to be replaced and an alignment performed. I insisted that it be under warranty as something had to be wrong with the car. Particularly since they said 3 times that normally rear tires wear out before front ones do. The dealer said no because the car had been in service for more than 12 months. After the tires and alignment done, I took the matter up with Mercedes Customer Service in NJ. They impolitely told me to drop dead. I think their attitude was awful and their decision not to reimburse me was Teutonic and arrogant in the extreme. Mercedes buyers beware that your warranty will receive little or no support from Mercedes management.

    2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class - Base

Pros: Watching the roof open and close

Cons: Accelerator needs a heavy push

    Advice: An awesome second car

I ordered my car in 5/02 and received it in 9/02. It's by far the best car I've owned, and handles very well. The engine is very powerful, as are the brakes. The CLK is a very good looking car with the top up, and beautiful with the top down. It turns heads everywhere it goes. The back seat is very small, but can be used if necessary. This car makes me look forward to sunny days and nice weather. It's very solid, and relatively heavy for its size, giving it a very safe overall feeling. ABS,ESP and Brake Assist only add to this feeling.

    2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class - Coupe

    Pros: Appearance Package

    Cons: Nothing

    Advice: Buy It

My wife is loving her 2003 Ice Blue CLK320 with the appearance package and NAVI. It took 8 months to get it. Well worth the wait. The appearance package with the aluminum replacing the wood and the Charcoal Leather makes the interior. The metal pedals are radical too. This car drives fantastic and handles like a true German sports coupe should. No negatives except only 1 cup holder in the front.

    2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class - Base

    Pros: Keyless start

    Cons: Phone has been troublesome.

Advice: Don't buy the voice activated phone.

The car handles and drives extremly well. The steering lacks some on feed back. The car is very quiet.

    2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class - Coupe

    Pros: Handling

    Cons: Quality

Advice: If style and handling are more important than reliability, get one

The car is beautiful and handles very well. Comfort was below average until Goodyear tires were replaced with Michelin..at our expense. With the new tires road noise dropped dramatically and comfort improved to C+. Unscheduled service in 40,000 miles has been TWICE that needed by our Cadillac with 110,000 miles and SEVEN times our Nissan with 242,000 miles. The Nissan gave up the ghost...after being hit by a Mack truck.
