    2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

What's up with the Mercedes C320

Pros: safety features, body style, and the weight of the car

Cons: The way the car jerks sometimes, when excellerating

I have owned my mercedes C320 for three years and going into the third year, I began to experience a jerking (transmission/timing) type of problem. Took the car in for service and to this day, the problem still exists. The dealership service department claim they checked the transmission and cleaned the transmission, the fluid level was fine. But when I had to take it in for service six months later, they claimed that I needed a transmission flush. Now I just want out of this car all together.

    2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class - Base (A5) C320 RWD Sedan

    Pros: It looks sporty.

Cons: The quality of the car is cheap.

Advice: Don't do it. Anything but Mercedes.

I have had my car serviced about 10 times in 20 months. Everything that can possibly go wrong with it has. It has left me stranded, it had to be towed to dealer. They try to blame everything on the computer. Yeah right! The quality of the car is poor. Don't buy, unless you like going to the service dept. The C230 looks the same as the C320, why spend 20K more.

    2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class - C240 RWD Sedan

Pros: the entire car! It's hard to pick favorite - it's 'so me'

    Cons: heated seats are optional

Advice: Test drive a variety of vehicles to determine the feel you like. I like the German cars best.

Just love it! Different look for MB - not the boxy type you're used to seeing. Acceleration is responsive, nimble handling, brakes well. Quality for a nice intro level to MB! Good safety features included as standard.

    2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class - Base (A5) C320 RWD Sedan

    Pros: Handling on slick service

    Cons: Front wheels brake dust

Advice: C320 4Matic is the ultimate compact/midsize car - it is expensive, but worth it!

C320 4matic is the best small car I have owned. It has a powerful engine, solid body, solid interior and great handling on slick surface. I feel safe and secured driving this car.

    2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class - C230 RWD Sedan

Pros: Xenon lights , rain sensor wipers & bose radio

Cons: semi- auto instead of full power seats & lack of lumbar support

Advice: It's a great car at a competitive price & because of improved reliability should bring good resale value.

After 4 months & no problems, I find my 230 sport sedan solid, smooth, quick & quiet w/ good gas mileage--22 mpg in city & 31 mpg hwy. The 4 cyl. feels & performs like a 6 cyl. & the safety features are outstanding. My one major complaint is the lack of speed sensitive steering-- much too heavy at low speeds. Check this car out if you want a fun, luxury sedan in the low to mid $ 30's.

    2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class - C230 RWD Sedan

    Pros: Sporty looks

Cons: The open storage compartment on the dashboard.

Advice: Don't buy anything before test driving the C-230K.

It was a blast to test drive this car. Great performance - it rides and handles very well. The interior appointments are second to none. Very comfortable, quiet, and comes with many gadgets that will spoil you. I loved the exterior sporty looks and those beautiful 17' wheels with low profile performance tires. Hard not to like this car.

    2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class - C230 RWD Sedan

    Pros: Acceleration

Cons: I can't program the garage door opener.

    Advice: Just do it.

After retuning a 2003 C240 to the dealer I test drove the 2004 C230K Sport Sedan. I love this car. It's fast, responsive and sporty. My only problem is that my girlfriend doesn't like to walk so far after I park away from the other cars. So more often than not I am forced to drive my other car. But my MB sure does look pretty sitting in the garage. I'm glad that I bought this car. It's a real joy to drive.
