Looks over comfort anyday!!!

Pros: Second set of doors

Cons: Console with stickshift to compacted.

Mazda RX-8 is a beautiful automobile with its streamline body, from the outside the car looks very spacious with its 4-doors. Open the doors and to enter the vehicle you will see that the interior is very compact. With wonderful heated wraped around body seats, a console that trying to furnish to much convenience for such a tight space, makes the vehicle very confining. From all my friends the back seats are very spacious with elbow and head room. This Mazda RX-8 is just what a HOT spots car is suppost to be... Looks all the way!! Comfort, not so much.. Thanks

Great car

Pros: Body style

Cons: No low end tourqe

Good economic sports car. Great body style and interior design. Rotary motor provides good high end speed but limited tourqe in low rpm.

Riding on Rails

Pros: Handling

Cons: Needs more power

Met the wife's 'family car' criteria of 4+ seats and 4 doors. Handles every situation with poise and conviction. A bit underpowered for the class, but where others get straight line power the RX8 more than makes up for it in the handling department. It would be nice if 6th gear was at a better ratio to help out with highway milage rating. Incredibly quiet considering the 9,000 RPM redline.

Pros: rotary engine

Cons: seats a bit unforgiving after 4 or 5 hours

Advice: You will love it!!

A tad uncomfortable on a very long drive(400+ miles), but then all cars likely are. Otherwise, the performance (particularly on curves!) is outstanding. And the appearance inside and out simply can't be beat! RXs once upon a time sucked up oil, but no longer! This is a pleasure to look at and to drive.

Pros: suicide doors

Cons: gas milage

Advice: for the price, with it offers, maintain the oil more often, go for it, you wiil enjoy it

top end speed, it takes off. tou need to let off the gas. automatic shifts very well, corners exceptional, there is no leaning either to the right or left as you driving around a curved road. must be warmed up, to efficently drive, more so in the colder temps.having to use top of the line gas, milage of the car is not what the sticker states, it is lower.
