    Summary

    first car purchase.. not happy

    Pros: interior and great pickup

    Cons: power steering noise and the dealership service.

    this is my first car purchase with my hard earn money. three months of owning this car, i had to take it to the shop three times. my power steering light came on and lost my steering while i was driving. the dealership could not find anything wrong and now i hear very loud hissing/humming noise. they said its a normal sound but i hear it inside the car and outside. it is so loud and annoying. i am planning to sale this car in several months. only had the car for five months now. not happy

    Summary

    Pros: handling, fit and finish

    Cons: the seat is not comfortable to me

    I sell BMW's and have driven them for many years. I have decided, because I am planning to retire soon, to buy a car and not lease anymore. I drove many cars, and found that the Mazda 3 is a wonderful car for the money. It does not feel like a cheap car, and handles as well as any BMW I have driven. It does not have the power of the 3 series BMW, but it does just fine on the roads. It corners and handles so well. And, the steering is so much easier than the BMW, that cannot turn a corner or make a u turn without two hands on the wheel. And, of course the gas mileage, using regular gas as opposed to high test for the BMW is so much better.

    IT'S AN EXTENTION OF ME

    Pros: MANUAL TRANS

    Cons: NOTHING AT THIS TIME

    BOUGHT A MAZDASPEED3 WITH A MANUAL TRANS AND ITS EVERY THING I HOPED FOR. I ENJOY SHIFTING SMOOTHLY EVEN THOUGH IT IS A CHALLENGE. I HAVE CARS WITH AUTO TRANS AND THEY TAKE YOU TO A TO B, BUT ARE NOT FUN OR ENGAGING. IM 75YRS OLD AND DO NOT GO FAST BUT ENJOY DRIVING THIS CAR.

    Summary

    All I could ask for under 22,000

    Pros: Styling , not just the same old lines.

    Cons: availablity of 17 inch snow tires

    The power,the handling,and the fit and finish are all top notch for the price.This is the best investment I've made in years.I considered a civic,but truly believe I chose the better over all ride.
