2009 Mazda MAZDA3

worst quick pick
Pros: the outside body
Cons: drivers seat ergonomics
my cadilac catera died. i needed a car fast. it was inexpensive. my drive to work one way in an hour. im average 5'10'. i hate the accelerator pedal and how close the center console causes my right leg to lay against very irritating feeling all the road vibrations. lots of road noise. stiff ride. ergonomics uncomfortable need to hunch over to hold the steering wheel after setting the seat for the pedal comfortability. the fix would be a telescope steering wheel. also slow get up and go. alway finding larger cars on my rear wanting to go.

2009 Mazda MAZDA3

Excellent city car
Pros: Overall utility
Cons: Cabin noise
This Grand Touring S hatchback is fun to drive, has all the bells and whistles you could possibly want combined with good carrying capacity, great styling, attention to detail with gas mileage of 24 about town and up to 30 on the highway. What's not to like? - excessive road noise transmitted to cabin at highway speeds when road surfaces are poor; and auto climate control is not up to Florida hot weather.

Advice: mine was made in japan, dont be foolish it does make a difference
I recently drove 2400 km of heavy snowfall high mountain hwy night driving in my 2009 mazda 3 sport GT. Im a very confident driver in these types of conditions so i pushed and pushed my car to see what it was and was not capable of. I could not drive this thing fast enough, it never once faultered or hesitated, not once. keep in mind i put on 4 new nokian wrg2 tires for the trip. i seriously felt like a raly driver, passing trains of other motorist doing 50km/h at 120km/h. my hats off to mazda japan for reminding me how fun it is to drive. and hats off to nokian tyres for an exceptional tires as well. these two products together are dangerously fun for anyone who appreciated quality and performance. especially for winter mountain driving. i strongly recommend.
