  2009 Mazda CX-7 - Touring FWD

  Summary

  Bought this car used from a local dealer with about 15k miles on the odometer. I had a Mazda3 sedan as a rental and really liked the way it drove. Then when I felt the turbo power of the CX-7 I was hooked. This little crossover does everything well. It has ample room for my 2 kids and can fit bikes or camping gear in the back. Best of all the CX-7 has zoom zoom. It is quick, rides and handles well, and gets about 22-24 MPG which is not bad for an SUV.

  Zoom Zoom for the CX-7

  Pros: Turbo

  Cons: Bad rear visability

  This is a peppy little SUV. Sorta on the small side but it is after all considered a crossover. But the CX-7 has a lot of personality. We got a black model and it is a great vehicle. Good power, reliable, lots of ammenities, and the list goes on. Totally happy with this ride!

  Solid Performer--

  Pros: Bose Stereo

  Cons: Cheap carpet.

  Loved my Mazda 3 so I bought a CX-7. Really like it, don't love it. If fuel economy were better, I would like it better. However, when I look at other cars, for the price, it was a good value and won't trade at this time.

  Drives good. Wish it were a little larger. Gas mileage is average. Would like it better if the interior were a little more expensive looking.

  Pros: Drinking coffee at the dealership.

  Cons: Needs check engine fix, pillars too large.

  Advice: AVOID THIS LEMON

  I purchased this 2207 lemon a little over two years ago and don't drive it much. It only has 8500 miles and will be going into the shop for the FOURTH time for a check engine light problem that seems to be impossible to fix. If you enjoy visiting your dealership every 2000mi, this is the vehicle for you. Run, don't walk, away from your Mazda dealer.
