2014 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring Test Drive Video Review

Vividly demonstrating fuel efficiency, driving fun, safety, and considerable utility can all be had in the same package; the 2014 Mazda CX-5 is a highly attractive package. It isn’t the fastest crossover out there, but it is one of the best handling. Further it’s a handsome vehicle with a strong value to content story. Two engines are offered to power the CX-5, Mazda’s 155-horsepower, 2.0-liter Skyactiv motivates the Sport model, while the Touring and Grand Touring models get a 184-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The front drive Mazda crossover can be had with all-wheel drive as an option. Transmission chores are handled by a six-speed manual transmission as standard equipment and a six-speed automatic is available as an option. The Mazda’s broad standard feature set includes Bluetooth phone and audio, Pandora Internet Radio, voice controls for the audio system, and text message reciting, Options include a rearview camera, blind spot monitoring, dual zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and leather upholstery.  Safety features include smart braking (bring the Mazda to a stop if it determines a collision is imminent and the driver is inattentive), automatic crash notification, ABS, traction control, stability control, and a full complement of airbags. In crash testing, the 2014 Mazda CX-5 earned five stars from NHTSA, and a rating of “good” (its highest rating) from the IIHS.
