Every new car comes with a warranty; most come with a standard new car warranty that covers your new car for the first four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. Some manufacturers offer a longer new car warranty, while others offer increased coverage, such as a separate powertrain warranty, roadside assistance or free maintenance in order to stand out, either as a show of faith in their products or in an attempt to improve their reputations. No matter what the reasoning behind each of the brand’s decisions, here is a list of the 10 best luxury car warranties in the business today.

Cadillac

In addition to the standard 4-year or 50,000-mile (whichever comes first) bumper-to-bumper limited warranty (which includes towing to the nearest dealership), new Cadillac models also add a 6-year or 70,000-mile transferable powertrain limited warranty. To help you easily take advantage of the warranty coverage, you also get six years or 70,000 miles of roadside assistance and six years or 70,000 miles of courtesy transportation. While hopefully you’ll never need to use them, thanks to the powertrain warranty and especially the roadside assistance and courtesy transportation, Cadillac now has one of the 10 best luxury car warranties in the business.

Buick

Buick includes the typical 4-year or 50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty that’s common to most of the cars on the market, but also adds a 6-year or 70,000-mile powertrain limited warranty. In addition you get six years or 70,000 miles of 24/7 roadside assistance as well as six years or 70,000 miles of courtesy transportation. Vehicles with the eAssist mild-hybrid system also include eight years or 100,000 miles of coverage on the eAssist components, including the expensive-to-replace battery. Buick’s powertrain warranty, roadside assistance and courtesy transportation help the brand earn a spot on our list of the 10 best luxury car warranties.

BMW

When you buy a new BMW, it comes with the standard 4-year 50,000-mile new car warranty as well as an unlimited-mileage 4-year roadside assistance plan. In addition, with 2017 models you get free scheduled maintenance for the first three years or 36,000 miles; while free maintenance might not initially sound that impressive, servicing a BMW that isn’t covered can get expensive (in fact, it’s so expensive that BMW reduced their coverage from the four years and 50,000 miles that they offered with 2016 models). Thanks to BMW’s roadside assistance and the included maintenance, the German brand makes our list of the 10 best luxury car warranties.

Audi

Audis come with the standard 4-year or 50,000-mile new car warranty, but with a few added benefits thrown in. The brand includes the first scheduled maintenance service (after 5,000 miles or a year, whichever comes first) on the house, and also includes four years or 50,000 miles of roadside assistance. The standout feature of Audi’s warranty, however, is the 12-year unlimited mileage perforation warranty, which is a great feature, especially if you plan on holding onto your car for a long time. It’s partially thanks to the roadside assistance, but mainly because of the extended perforation warranty, that the brand has one of the 10 best luxury car warranties.

Jaguar

Jaguar has added a year and 10,000 miles to the standard 4-year and 50,000-mile warranty, meaning that the brand’s cars are covered for a total of five years and 60,000 miles. To keep your Jag looking good, four years or 50,000 miles of paint surface coverage and a 6-year unlimited mileage corrosion warranty are also included. The kicker is that Jaguar also includes all factory recommended scheduled maintenance for five years or 60,000 miles, making trips to the dealer much less painful on your wallet. The new car warranty and roadside assistance ensure Jaguar’s spot on our list of the 10 best luxury car warranties.

Lexus

Lexus’ models come with the standard 4-year, 50,000-mile basic coverage warranty that you’ve come to expect from most manufacturers, but in addition, the brand also adds a 6-year or 70,000-mile powertrain warranty and a 6-year unlimited mileage corrosion perforation warranty. While Lexus models are known to be super reliable, the extra warranty provides even more peace of mind, letting you be confident that your pride and joy will be ticking as smoothly as ever, even more than half a decade down the road. Thanks to this extended coverage, Lexus has one of the 10 best luxury car warranties in the business.

Acura

In addition to the regular 4-year, 50,000-mile new-car warranty that’s included with nearly all new cars, Acura models come with a 6-year or 70,000-mile powertrain warranty. You also get a 5-year unlimited-mile outer body rust-through warranty as well as a 4-year or 50,000-mile limited warranty on Acura Genuine Accessories. In other words, when you buy a new Acura model, you can be confident that your car will be running and looking good even years down the line. Thanks to the powertrain warranty and the outer-body rust-through coverage, the Acura brand makes our list of the 10 best luxury car warranties.

Tesla

When you purchase a new Tesla, not only do you get the standard 4-year or 50,000-mile new vehicle warranty, but you also get an 8-year unlimited mile battery warranty. While there are few components in an electric vehicle that normally wear out, the batteries are one of the parts that can go bad. Since a battery replacement can be very expensive, this warranty means that you can be confident that your car will be going strong even after many years on the road. Thanks to the brand’s battery warranty, Tesla places near the top of our list of the 10 best luxury car warranties.

Infiniti

Infiniti is currently offering a 4-year or 60,000-mile basic coverage warranty (slightly longer than normal, by 10,000 miles) on every one of its new models, as well as a 6-year or 70,000-mile powertrain warranty and a 7-year unlimited mile corrosion warranty. Thanks to the extended basic coverage, as well as the additional powertrain and corrosion coverage, Infiniti has one of the 10 best luxury car warranties available on the market today. All that warranty coverage will ensure that Infiniti’s vehicles run great and retain their good looks (and more importantly, their structural integrity) and that customers remain happy for many years to come.

Genesis

new Genesis models come with one of the best warranties currently available. You get a 5-year or 60,000-mile new vehicle warranty as well as a 5-year unlimited mileage roadside assistance plan. Anti-perforation is also included, covering you for seven years and unlimited miles. The piece de resistance, however, is the powertrain warranty that provides coverage for 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. What that all means is that if you buy a new Genesis today and keep up to date with the routine maintenance, you can be confident that your car will be running in tip-top shape for years to come.
