    2002 Lincoln Town Car - Cartier (300A)

    Pros: THE RIDE

    Cons: MILEAGE

Advice: DRIVE ONE AND GO WITH YOUR FIRST INSTINCT

MY WIFE AND I BOUGHT OUR FIRST TOWN CAR ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO. IT WAS THE CARTIER EDITION AND IT WAS LOADED TO THE GILLS INCLUDING THE MOON ROOF. THIS CAR WAS FLAWLESS. IT WAS A 94' WITH 50,000 MILES ON IT, AND DROVE LIKE IT JUST CAME OUT OF THE SHOWROOM. I TESTED THE CADDY'S AND BUICKS, BUT THEY WERE NOT EVEN IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS THE TOWN CAR. COMFORT, STYLE, DEADLY GOOD LOOKS AND ONE OF THE BEST ENGINES EVER MADE MAKE THE LINCOLN TOWN CAR THE BEST LUXURY CAR AND THE SAFEST AND MOST PLUSH ON THE ROAD. PERIOD. ANYONE THAT SAYS DIFFERENT HAS NEVER DROVE OR OWNED ONE. GOD BLESS.

    2002 Lincoln LS - V8 Auto Base (200A)

Pros: Auto adjust seats & steering wheel. Great controls on the steering column

Cons: Lack of interior storage space (doors, glove box and console)

Advice: Check it out on the entrance and exit ramps.

The LS V8 is solid and fits like a glove. The steering and handling are effortless. Braking is steady and does not experience any 'fade', even after repetitive braking. Acceleration is smooth. The front seat controls customize the feel. Honestly, I have fun driving this vehicle. It makes curves, ramps and turns exciting. I first saw it over two years ago. It caught my eye back then and I just had to seriously check it out when I was ready to buy. I'm glad I did!!

    2002 Lincoln LS - V8 Auto Base (200A)

    Pros: Select Shift Transmission

Cons: Needs more console storage space

Advice: Drop any preconceived ideas and really make an honest comparison with anything else out there for this price point and size.

The handling of this car is simply amazing. The 50/50 weight distribution really allows you throw this car into the turns with confidence. Did I say this was a driver's car? IT IS, in spades! Need to hit the brakes hard, this car just hunkers down without any of the typical nose dive found in most anything else on the road. The ride is also very refined and civilized, a real pleasure for extended touring with passengers (even baby seats). This is a great car.

    2002 Lincoln LS - V6 Auto Base (100A)

    Pros: Performance and Handling

Cons: Too small glove compartment and center console

Advice: Drive it, and you will probably want one too!

I have the 2002 V-6. They stepped up the horsepwer to 220 and it performs very well. Handling is outstanding. Ride is first rate. I traded a Buick Riviera for the LS. The LS is not quite as fast as the supercharged Riviera, but overall the LS is a far superior car.

    2002 Lincoln LS - V8 Auto Base (200A)

    Pros: Engine and Ride

    Cons: Plastic Dash

Advice: This is a great car and with the deals out there now, it cannot be beaten

With the 8 and sports package this car drives as well as the Mercedes E 420. Is still new and hope it lasts.

    2002 Lincoln LS - V8 Auto Base (200A)

Pros: Exterior styling - it is a gorgeous car.

    Cons: Visibility could be better.

    Advice: Test drive the V8.

Compared to my Honda and the Acura TLs I test drove, this car is very bouncy. Despite that, it holds the road beautifully and is fun to drive. Definitely get the sport (or higher) package and don't even look at the V6. You need the V8 to move this weight. Overall the cabin is very spacious and nicely decorated. The Alpine sound system is excellent. Everything in within reach and I find the storage space quite adequate. The windshield is not designed as 'wide' as it could have been and you get a terrible reflection on the dash during mid-day driving. If you are going to do primarily highway driving, this car is wonderful, but the brakes are too soft for lots of stop and go driving. It's also not as quiet as it could be.

    2003 Lincoln Navigator - Luxury (200A) 4x4

Pros: Great ride and engine performance

Cons: No cargo space with third row seat

Advice: Dont get the third row seat

The ride is great (with the air suspension system). The engine is powerful enough to outrun many cars on the road today while still being very quiet for its size. I've had very few minor mechanical issues with it, and no major problems at all. The car looks great, and attracts attention from other people. However, if you opt for the third row seat you'll be disappointed at the amount of cargo room left, none, so don't get the third row seat unless you'll be having more than four passengers at one time.
