    2003 Lincoln LS - V6 Premium (120A)

Pros: 6 change in dash cd player.

    Cons: Overall quality of vehicle.

Advice: Inquire about these issues. I have spoken to other LS owners and have found they are not unique to me.

I am now on my second LS. This is not by choice, but due to the fact that the dealer was forced - by my attorney - to replace the first LS. The first car had problems that included, wiper arms falling off, door panels that did not fit and eventually pulled away from the door, window regulators that utilize a nylon strap which tends to snap, cuasing the window tro fall into the door, the hood was not able to be properly latched and would open while driving, a cpomplete replacement of the automatic trans and a bad tie-rod. this was all within 4 months of purchasing the vehicle. The second - the replacement- Ls has gone through 5 window regulators and 2 steering columns.

    2003 Lincoln Aviator - Luxury (300A) AWD

    Pros: Handling

    Cons: Nothing!

Advice: It will be the best SUV by far you will have ever purchased!

I test drove this incredible vehicle and decided on the spot to purchase it. It was extremely comfortable, it also handled bumps and pot holes incredibly well. It also blocks out the sounds outside so well that you feel like your in your own little world with this wonderful edition to the SUV market.

    2002 Lincoln Blackwood - Base

    Pros: most everything

Cons: gas rating & mpg, no running boards and no double sun visor

Advice: Worth it despite the gas rating and what they left off.

Despite what the professionals think, this has proven to be a great vehicle. True the gas rating should be like the Navigator but there is only a 3 mpg difference between the Blackwood and the Ford sport trac. The ride is smooter than the navigator and all the little features are nice. However why they left off running boards and the double sun visor is beyond me. Why they make the octane rating so high is also a poor choice. Hopefully the value will increase since they only made 4,000.

    2002 Lincoln LS - V8 Auto LSE (221A)

    Pros: Engine and handling

Cons: Small trunk and a few minor paint defects (fixed under warranty)

Advice: Carefully inspect the vehicle prior to delivery

The car rides and handles very well. I like the 'cockpit feel' that it provides. High RPM performance is very impressive (e.g., passing on the freeway), but low-end performance (e.g., stop-and-go driving) is just average. Still, it is a lot of fun to drive. My car is the LSE which has very little exterior chrome, enhanced ground effects, larger wheels and stiffer suspension. It does handle better than the standard LS with only a very minor difference in ride quality.
