Pros: heated seat and rear view camera
Cons: no back hatch (glass) lift separate from gate and would like a bigger gas tank (the 1/4 marks seem off)
Advice: Give it a test drive.Very comfortable, versital, no rattles, love the rear view camera.
Pros: Predicted top reliability
Cons: Premium gas, no Ipod aux input
Advice: Bring a wreck to trade it, they can not deal on the price, but can bend the rules on trade inJust bought one a few weeks ago. I really like it. I am 6'2' tall, and can fit just fine, although it would have been perfect if they made the seat go back another 1'! Be aware, the RX350 engine upgrade comes with a need to use Premium gas. I test drove the BMW X5 with the 3.0 engine, and it was very dissapointing. I think the RX350 has more acceleration. And the handling is not that much worse than the X5. I wish it came with an IPod aux input on the stereo!!! Do not know why they do not have that in a car that is loaded with everything else. Also, there is not good flat surface to rest an IPod on while driving, except for the tops of the cup holder or center glove box.
Pros: 'Secret' cup holder on the left side of steering column!
Cons: Nothing I don't like.
Advice: If you're considering it, you won't be disappointed. The 2007 model surpassed my 2003 model in all ways. Excellent road handling, better turning radius, much better engine, added features such as a cup holder on the left for us lefties, much need hidden storage, and the power liftgate was a real plus.
Pros: The Lexus quality.
Cons: Not having ipod connection.
Advice: The new engine performance has to be experienced to appreciate. By all means test drive one.Tight, quiet, responsive, peppy, comfortable and stylish. I couldn't ask for anything more. All this coupled with the Lexus excellent reliability factor makes it a winner in all respects to me. The new 350cc engine is most impressive in that it simultaneously improved performance AND fuel mileage over the previous 330cc version.
Pros: Smooth riding
Cons: More passing power would be great.
Advice: Buy oneI have owned my RX 350 for almost 2 month and just returned from a 1600 mile trip with my wife. We love the smooth and quiet riding and audio sound from the 6 disc mp3 cd changer. The voice command navigation is a plus and very helpful. Gas mileage is slightly below 24 mile/gallon on highway. Passing power is weak for a 270 horsepower vehicle but it is OK for me.
Pros: The navigation system with my cellphone connected by Bluetooth
Cons: The color my wife picked out
Advice: Don't think you can't negotiateThe gas pedal in the RX-350 seems to be a bit touchy when you first start driving but once you get used to it all is very smooth. With 270 HP, push down a bit too much and you launch yourself with lots of power. The navigation system with bluetooth is probably the most challenging to learn but we found if you just start playing with it you will eventually learn. Whatever is left that baffles you can be found in the owners manual. This vehicle is very comfortable (I'm 6' 4' tall) and I have no problems finding a setting that suits me. The HID headlights seem a little weird at first because when you turn them on they kinda search around a second or two and then settle down where they're supposed to be. It's really an excellent vehicle and we love it. It is so quiet and solid on the road we find ourselves unintentionally speeding. The dealer might tell you they can't negotiate because the car is in such demand but shop around. I bought mine in Colorado Springs at a lower price after telling them I could get it $2000 cheaper in Albuquerque (which I could have). They came close enough to where it wasn't worth it to drive that distance. I highly recommend it if your looking for a very comfortable car with lots of features, and POWER.
