If can't make it out to Colorado for the Pikes Hill Climb, but still want to participate in some shape or form, you might want to pay attention to this story. Lexus is teaming up with the Tony Hawk Foundation to create a decal with the names of fans and supporters to place on the IS F CCS-R that will be competing at the event.
“Not everyone gets a chance to drive to the top of Pikes Peak, so 14,000 fans can now say they took part in the ride up the hill. We are very excited to be partnering with the Tony Hawk Foundation to provide this great opportunity to our fans," said Brian Smith, Lexus vice president of marketing.
Beginning this week and running through June 20th, fans get the chance to have their name placed on the decal. How do you get your name on the decal? Well through a number of ways, including:
- Leaving a response on a post on Lexus' Facebook Page
- Leaving a response on a post on Lexus' Google+ Page
- Leaving a comment on Lexus's IS F CCS-R video on YouTube
- Using the #Lexus14K hashtag on Twitter and Instagram
