Lexus has announced the pricing for its third-generation IS sports sedan, which will start at $34,950 for the IS 250 and $39,465 for the IS 350. These prices exclude a $950 destination charge.
The IS 250 packs a 2.5L V6 engine producing 204 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque going through a six-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels. The IS 350 uses a 3.5L V6 engine making 306 horsepower and 227 pound-feet of torque. That is sent through an eight-speed automatic to the rear wheels. All-wheel drive is optional on both models. For the IS 250, it will set you back $2,535. On the IS 350, it will cost $2,235. It should be noted that the AWD version of the IS 350 swaps the eight-speed automatic for a six-speed automatic.
Standard equipment for the 2014 IS includes HID headlights, paddle shifters, Drive Mode Select, a dual zone climate control system, color 4.2 inch TFT multi-information display, Lexus’ next-generation Remote Touch Interface, and 10 airbags.
