2015 Lexus RC 350 F SPORT Walkaround

The Lexus RC models are a new lineup of sport coupes designed for entertaining driving, and the 2015 350 F SPORT is a particularly compelling example. Autobytel recently got a walkaround of the new Lexus RC 350 F SPORT, thanks to Doug Herbert from Lexus College. Both the regular RC 350 and the F SPORT version are treated to a 3.5-liter V-6 powerplant that provides 306 horsepower and 227 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s important to provide F SPORT buyers extra oomph, though, so the F SPORT features a lot of unique styling upgrades. The Lexus spindle grille gets a mesh insert for a much more aggressive face, and on close inspection, the mesh reveals an intricate design of “L” and “F” motifs. The RC 350 F SPORT rides on a special 19-inch wheel that has a layered design with both chrome and machined finishes. A sleek exterior profile gives this Lexus a low drag coefficient, aided by an integrated rear deck lid spoiler. The headlights and taillights are consistent with Lexus’ most updated lighting designs. Other details help set the 2015 Lexus RC 350 apart from the competition, such as LED lights in the door handle and door sills that illuminate when the car is approached with the smart key, welcoming back its owner, and the cabin is also loaded with thoughtful and useful features.
