The 2014 Lexus IS 350 isn't your grandfather's Lexus, or even your father's. What the 2014 IS 350 is is a statement by Lexus that they are going down a very different path from the one they started on. From one that focused on building the best luxury sedan in the world to building a sedan that can give the likes of the Audi A4, BMW 3-Series, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class a run for their money.

Let's start with the exterior looks of the 2014 IS 350. The new IS features the L-finesse Design Language with its bold lines and sharp creases. The front end has the now-pertinent spindle grille and LED DRLs mounted on the front bumper. Around the back are a set of sharp looking taillights that run into the rear fenders and dual exhaust ports. The boldness continues inside with a dashboard layout that is slightly angled forward and supportive bucket seats wrapped in leather.

Under the hood is a 3.5L V6 engine with 306 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. This is paired to an eight-speed automatic (if you go with rear-wheel drive) or an six-speed automatic (if you go with all-wheel drive). Fuel economy is rated at 19 City/28 Highway/22 Combined for the rear-wheel drive model and 19 City/28 Highway/22 Combined for the all-wheel drive model.

The IS 350 starts at $39,465 for the rear-wheel drive model and $41,700 for the all-wheel drive model.
