Pros: LUXURIOUS INTERIOR AND COMFORT OF RIDE
Cons: NEED MORE HORSEPOWER
Advice: DEFININATELY UPSCALEEXCELLENT EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR STYLING...VERY LUXURIOUS...HOWEVER I AM DISAPPOINTED WITH ACCELERATION AND ABILITY TO PERFORM ON INCLINES. ALSO, CAR COULD NOT BE ORDERED WITH SUNSHADE APART FROM PACKAGE DEAL. PREVIOUS CARS WERE HONDA...CONSIDERED MERCEDES C240 AND ACURA TL...PURCHASED ES300
Cons: needs about an inch more head room
Advice: compare it to all the others in its class an you'll buy it.Very quite and has a super luxury feel in all the switches and controls. The car reeks with quality. The only thing that I dislike is it could use a little more headroom.
Pros: exterior and interior styling and navigation system
Cons: that I could not buy the car with the navigation system without purchasing the mark levinson audio package
Advice: Be patient/ dealer will deal on the carThe interior is extremely quite. In fact, at times, when stopped at a traffic light, I look to see if the car is still on because you don't hear the noise of the engine. I really notice the difference driving in other cars/SUVs. The interior is very comfortable and the navigation system is outstanding.
Pros: very quiet interior
Cons: lazy acceleration, needs more power.
Advice: Top notch car if you are not looking for the performance of an Audi or BMW.Luxurious ride, separates you from the road. Very rich and elegant interior. Comfortable leather seats. Handles and brakes very well but lazy acceleration.Overall a very well designed car.
Cons: Hard to read guages because of red pointers on a black background
Advice: Buy it and you will love it. Search until you find a dealer willing to bargain.Great Car. I replaced my 1997 ES300 with a 2002 Lexus ES300. Lexus has added many creature comforts to this car. The fit and trim is excellent. The car is roomy and quiet. However, I have two complaints. The car sometimes hesitates and flutters upon acceleration. Also, the guages are sometimes difficult to read in the sunlight because the pointers are red on a black background. The Lexus engineers should have known better. My Saturn has white pointers on a black blackground and provides great contrast.
Cons: I couldnt afford the navigation system
Advice: take it for a test drive before any other and you will be well pleasedAfter taking a trip from Atlanta to Newport News, I am convinced that this is the finest vehicle I have ever owned. ( others; mercedes 190 1988, volvo 240 1989 [saved my son life], volvo v40 2000, volkwagen quattum 1988) It has the space, the comfort, convenience, driveability my wife and I were looking for. After looking at the Mercedes E320, S320 we settled on the Lexus ES300.
Advice: the car will give trouble-free service--very solid power trainvery good veh--under rated in it class
