The LR4 is a very quiet and capable SUV - unbeatable in 4x4 use. The variable air suspension works great and the sound proofing is superior to other makes I have owned. It is a 'thirsty' car but then it is heavy, well built and full of electronics. I like the design of the rear seats allowing a totally flat hauling surface when folded. The user interface with the Nav, Audio etc. units takes a while getting used to, but once familiar with it works well. The car is well built, and Quality Control seems to have improved. My only wish would be a Diesel engine instead of the thirsty Jaguar V8 engine.
