Bob is impressed
Pros: Design and warrenty
Cons: nothing at this pointI traded in a2003 Toyota highlander with 112000 miles, great car, but parts where super high, so I went for the Sorento with the four cylinder engine, Good choice, quality is great and it does everything that the highlander did but some what cheaper. I live in Arizona and all my driving is long distance and on the interstate, mostly with the cruise at 80 mph. The four is more then adequate. I am a convert, sorry Toyota
Great vehicle - Nice price
Pros: auto rear back-up camera on reverse
Cons: LX came standard with third seat (should be optional) - not going to use it.Just purchased V6, LX model - very nice. Wife has been a van follower, this Kia turned her around and she loves it. Nice drive (strongly suggest V6 over 4 cylinder), comfortable and looks great too! Was a tie with the GMC Terrain, until incentives, warranty, and V6 test drive - GMC also had limited visibility out the back versus the Sorento. Will take this on longer drives to further test comfort, but really enjoy it so far!
Cons: to low to the ground/ needs to be up about 3 inches.i fine that the 2011 kia sorento has every thing that you would need if you live in the city. out side on the back roads it is to low to the ground.
hope it last til we get it paid for
Pros: back up camera
Cons: stiff ride and gas milagetransmission doesn`t seem right since a call back repair was made.three callbacks in 2 months since they are made now in usa.first year for the new design. should have waited till 2012.have 5 years of payments ahead so hope it holds together. milage only 19mpg so it likes its gas.
Cons: phone control on stering wheelGreat car its everything that we expected .
All wheel drive 24.7mpg avg Beat that
Pros: Push botten start proximity key fob.
Cons: No power rear doorThird row for grand children they love it. We like milage. Infinity sound w/sub pounds out bass. 2.5K cross country trip WI to MT, we had 30 mph winds that brought mpg down to 20.9 @ 80 mph. That litil 4 banger slid between 5th and 6th with ease. Auto dual climate control and navagation will save my marrige.
Sorento EX V6
Pros: Outside appearance
Cons: Little room insideHave owned our Sorento for 5 weeks and about 1200 miles. Very good looking vehicle. Disappointed in the ride which is rough. The middle seats are good for short people and the third row seats might work for anyone under 4 foot tall. Front seats are very comfortable unless you have two adults in the back seat which means you have to move the front seats forward for the second row to have any legroom at all. This makes the front seats uncomfortable and I am only 5'10'. Roof rack is decorative only since crossbars are not available. Seat Leather seems to be good quality. I wish I would have hung on to our 2004 Mountaineer V8 AWD which was much more roomy and versatile. We thought that we might save a little in gas money since it only got about 11 to 12 Mpg around town, but the Sorento is only getting about 16, so the savings was not worth taking on a new car loan.
