Pros: power tail lift
Cons: electronicsThis is my second Kia Sedona. Although I have been pleased with it overall it has been plaqued by various electrical issues.
Pros: That the side windows roll down! Everyone ohhs and ahhs over that! All the airbags! Deep trunk! 2 glovecompartments.
Cons: No plug in for i pod. That i didn't 'upgrade' and get sunroof, TEMPERATURE reading!, automatic door opener/closure, the extras!Seats are uncomfortbale, learn that the hard way driving to FL, had to get different tires, the tires that came with it were NOT for snow! Antilock brakes were on at every stop! All day the antilock braks were on! Now with new tires they have never been 'on'!Had to replace rollers on both sliding van doors, the cruise control will all of a sudden stop and drop-even tho it still claims it is set. Accelerates for no reason, touchy idle/acceleration.
Pros: The spaciousness of the interrior
Cons: Everything else!
Advice: Don't do it.Rented one for a vacation trip and loved the vehicle. Came home and bought one without test driving...big mistake! At 40,000 mi we needed to replace: Transmission, brakes, bushing, axel, passenger door handle. NOT A GOOD THING! Middle seats squeak and have since the day we drove it off the lot.
Pros: Stow and Go
Cons: Road noise
Advice: Great buy for the pricegreat price...could have gotten 'much more' car for the price but I LOVE my minivan!!!!!
Pros: Stow and Go Seating
Cons: Seats are a little hard
Advice: NoneHaving had vans or minivans for the past ten years I liked the feel of the Sedona. The smooth, quiet ride was good and it handled itself well. I like to have some pep in my van for passing, and when hauling a load of people, and this van has some pep.
Pros: Power doors and hatch
Cons: City mileage
Advice: If your main driving is anything except highway then avoid this vehicle.I purchased a KIA Sedona EX in early September 2006. I am pleased with most features and the ride. It is really a good value in those terms. But, I am appalled at the city mileage. I get a MEAGER 7 MPG CITY. That's no misprint. A KIA representative went for a fuel consumption test ride with me and confirmed the mileage. He did not have any criticisms about my driving habits that could cause the poor mileage and the driving conditions were all favorable. Since then, KIA has washed its hands of the matter and has told me that gas mileage is not guaranteed and that they will not do anything for me to correct the problem.
Pros: stow and go seating
Advice: great van for the $ plus the warranty can't be beat.Wife liked all the features. Smooth acceleration.
