Pros: Hard top
Cons: The comfort of the back seat for tall people.Great, fun vehicle!!
A tad disappointed...
Pros: The Jeep looks great and you can do just about anything to customize it.
Cons: Too many recalls. Get your stuff together Jeep! This vehicle has a ton of recalls and there is always something wrong with it electrically. Most of the Jeeps this model and year have what is called the 'death wobble'. The tie rod ends are defective from the dealership and most dealerships are unaware of the problem and try to charge you an arm and a leg to fix.
needs some refinement
Pros: front seating
Cons: lack of adequate sun shadeFor baby boomers that want some luxury and more bells and whistles, the Sahara has a lot but needs better sun shades that actually shade the sun and more foot room for the back seat. The newer models are quiet, powerful and have more room. They are easy to park and use for urban traffic and well as off road use.
Cons: Gas consumption in the city, but you gotta remember it's a Jeep!!
Advice: If you have yearned for one because you had one or it's your 1st Jeep buy one no hesistationI owned a Jeep in the past, but when I had my second son it had to go. Several years went by and I had kept wanting a Jeep. This Wrangler Sahara Unlimited came out and wow!! It rides like a smooth car but performs like a Jeep off road. I am in love again with my vehicle.
Cons: plastic bumpers
Advice: research and test driveI have less than 4,000mi. on my 07 Jeep JK. I really want to like it as I've always wanted a Jeep. I really love that this thing will crawl over just about anything off road. However, I've already had to replace the clutch slave cylinder (warranty). Today I was on a road trip and at 65-70 mph I caught a cross wind and went into a BAD sway- total loss of control and dang near got killed on the expressway. It keeps wanting to do it again so I think theres definately a problem. I'm taking it to the dealer in the morning to have it inspected. And yes the cup holders and rear window clips do stink. I was real happy with my Jeep until this sway problem came up. I hope I can get it worked out.
Pros: Tie...between the space (lots of it) and the ride (really smooth)..................
Cons: I am tall..and for some reason the window crank hits my knee....but its a jeep stupid
Advice: This is a Jeep.....amazing 4x4 abilities.....its also very smooth on the highway, but don,t be fooled..its a true jeep...amazing 4x4 action off road...WowI had a '98' jeep and loved it but wanted the whole 4 door thing. After about 30 seconds..I was sold..waited 3 months for our Jeep Green Willy.....Wow,, so smooth on the highway...1000 miles,,Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. It sort of feels like a car but as soon as the road changes (gets rough) it a total jeep..but I got 25 miles to the gallon...what a nice suprise..As for space..fly fishing rods, camping stuff ,coolers and backpacks..no problem. The best drive review came as my friends (A few Hummer owners) and I went off road. lots of dirt and mud and my jeep just drove up a 55 degree incline...all mud and trees..no problem. I really could not believe that a stock Jeep could do that.....P.S. the Hummers had a tough time...several attempts and a lot of digging. This Is a great vehicle...as for the negative reviews...its s jeep stupid!!!!! Not a Yuppie SUV
Pros: Hard to say. If I had to pick one, it would be the soft top.
Cons: It's a tie... The cup holders stink, and so do the rear window - lower attachment clips.
Advice: If it's a Wrangler you want - then get one!I didn't even test drive my new Wrangler. I had an 97 and knew they had made improvements.
