Second, Jaguar listens to its customers and stayed true to the concept vehicle that so many people loved and desired. Very little changed in the transition from the Concept Eight to the production Super V8 Portfolio. The only obvious loss was the single-piece glass roof of the Concept Eight. In place of the glass roof, an electronically adjustable tinted glass sunroof allows the Super V8 Portfolio to retain its side-curtain airbags. Also gone are the one-inch thick, handmade carpets lining the Concept Eight.
Once again, Jaguar ups the ante in the luxury class segment with the introduction of the Super V8 Portfolio. Loaded with style, power, and creature comforts, nothing was overlooked in the Super V8 Portfolio. Dressed in aluminum trim and sporting new side vents and larger 20-inch rims, the 2006 Jaguar XJ Super V8 Portfolio is unmistakably ready to take on all competitors. Each Super V8 Portfolio is built to identical standards with the only option being a choice of paint color: Black Cherry or Winter Gold.
