Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Pros: everything...........(interior and exterior, lots of pep)
Cons: glove box sometimes gets stuck open. This car was given to me for my 60th birthday. In college my father let me drive his Jag and always wanted another one. This is the nicest and best looking car I have ever had the pleasure to own. Thank you dear sweet husband!
Luxo vs Sportiness
Pros: Comfortable ride on a sports car frame.
Cons: lack of performance sound at low RPM.My Jaguar XF is a break through in car design. It sorta looks like other cars in it class but after a few minutes with it, You can tell its unique. It really does a have the luxo feel but really adds the sporty performance. Most cars in its class are either to much sporty or to much luxo but not right in the middle. I would recommend it to anybody who wants all the comfort features but who also wants to enjoy a weekend free spirit drive.
Love my Jag
Pros: Looks and performance.
Cons: NothingI have a 2010 Jaguar XF Supercharged and love everything about it. It is the third Jaguar that I have owned since 2007 and is as good or better than any that I have owned. I will have to say that my 2007 XK had to be the sportiest of any and I still miss that car but the performance and acceleration of this car is breathtaking.
Best car I ever owned(
Pros: Perfect paint job was bulletproof and aroma of fine leather
Cons: The fact that this style of car is no longer available from JaguarThis little AWD jag was the most appealing car I ever owned. Paint job unsurpassed.Styling superb. Connolly hides sumptuous and always smelled of fine leather. Fantastic interior lighting. Beautiful dash and woodwork. Ergonomic seats. Comfortable, secure ride. Service at dealership first rate. What more could you ask for? The chance to buy this same car new again. Sadly discontinued. Always turn my head if I see one pass by.
Pros: The paddle shifting is revolutionary. The handling is sure and forgiving. It is quiet inside.
Cons: The seat will not recline enough for me to be comfortable & is too narrow in the shoulders.
Advice: If all they have is black and grayThe Jaguar has a quiet roar which betrays a well-bred confidence. It is a gentlemen's car without being quite tame. It trounces without showing off. The new 5 litre V-8 in the 2010 is very responsive and can get 24 mpg on the highway. I have never seen a car merit such reverent attention and respect.
Advice: Get one before they're goneThe XJR has fantastic performance, classic good looks, and is fabulously comfortable. A sports car in a sport sedan disguise
Pros: The Blind Spot monitor. Superb. The pop up gear shift is great too. Customer service
Cons: The rattles, the interior noise, the electrical faults
Advice: Test drive the actual car. Check finish and listen for rattles.Beautiful car. Great acceleration throughout the range. Good mileage, better than my last two cars. I get 31 on the freeway and 19 in town. In first 13 months of ownership have averaged 21.8 MPG. Very good interior design, spoiled by poor quality fit and finish. Quite noisy inside, lots of 1950's type rattles that never go away. Wood trim is rough and unfinished and cannot be replaced. Rear door wind noise is high above 50 mph. Great service. Did not get car I ordered but it was finally fixed after 4 months. Never had such good (and neccessary) customer support from a manufacturer.
